Re: SoC 1v1 Ladder Challenge
Is polymorph an acceptable game type for the ladder games? To my mind, it's a 1v1 type game but with less luck based on the initial drop.

Good question...I haven't read up on it too much. Let me defer this to Macbone. Can you give me 24 hours to let you know?
Re: SoC 1v1 Ladder Challenge
I know dhallmeyer would report his win 1-2 against me, but for the sake of progress I'm reporting so I can now challenge tamaynet...
Invites/pm being sent asap:)
I'll let dhallmeyer describe his successfull challenge defence.

I've sent off a challenge to [player]t4mcr53s2[/player]
Home game: Game 13463258
Random game: Game 13463256
I suddenly realised I should have set them up with a password, in case he declines and someone else takes his place. I will try to remember next time.

For what it's worth I'm against Polymorphic games being used in the 1v1 Ladder.

Re: SoC 1v1 Ladder Challenge
As am I, Caffeine. It might work as a separate ladder, but Celliottii has his hands full with this one. Polymorph is basically a team game with players controlling more than one player on the team, and the flavor is a bit different from 1v1, although if you're a good 1v1 player, you'll probably do well at polymorph games, too. I realized after training with Bruce on doubs that I could use team play principles for singles matches. If only I could figure out 3-4 player games. =)

Agreed macbone. I'm loving the polymorphic games but they aren't the same as 1v1.

I agree too, and I decided not to choose any polymorphic games in this tourny.

My games with Philbro will finish 2-1 to me, but they're not over just yet.

ok, it's settled...Polymorph games will not be allowed (at this time) on the Ladder. I will make a note in the Rule section.

I do not know if it is real important, but I don't see the game numbers in the challenge from Aussie.
In case it is important, here are the game numbers
13459963 (Aussie's home game)
13459959 (Random)
13460056 (My home game)

What the heck is ALCS? I have accepted the challenge, but you have to pay up with pizza and Diet Coke. My game has been sent. It is Game #13466542, USA 2.1.

Games with Philbro have ended 2-1 to me, he did very well to bring a win back, and on my home map too! Well played.
