Also, I'm done with Beth. If they want to develop a female character, let them develop Sasha.

NO WAY DUDE I guarantee you Beth is WAY tighter than Sasha.

I think the Glenn and Maggie thing is what happens to people who have something to live for, in a having sex kind of way. And knowing women, she probably views Glenn as her dad and her boyfriend now.

Surprised this hasn't been commented on yet - been a while since Carol got to murder someone.

I'm actually slightly sad we don't get to see the children of the corn being crazy for longer. The nice one was proabbly always cannon fodder, but they could have seriously had some fun with the crazy one...

I was going to wait to comment. That was the first episode I saw as it aired, and it was a good one to see "live." I thought they should have killed Psycho Girl when she tried to suffocate the baby, although I suspect no one saw her almost do that. In any event, a great episode (all of it) and I definitely enjoy Carol as a character. I also wanted to see Psycho Girl live a little longer, but it ended the way it should have ended, so I can't complain too much.

Well, call me an idiot then but I think it was one of the most boring episodes so far. I'm much more interested in Daryl's escapades and Glenn's crew. Rick's group is so-so for interest level, Maggie's group is stupid.

In order, I was most interested in:

1 - Glenn and company (new characters probably)
2 - Rick and company (I really want to see Rick continue his descent)
3 - Carol and company (obviously, last episode jumped that to the top)

I could give a shit about Maggie's group. I did enjoy Bob's portion of the episode (the "alone" part). Thankfully, Maggie is a beautiful woman, even in zombie apocalypse land otherwise I'd turn the show off.

So Carol is now one of my favorites. I really enjoyed that episode (the last 3 really I thought have been good).

So the common word around here is that Terminus is going to be some kind of cult run place. I could see it but I am yet to be convinced. I think it will be a place where, they'll keep you safe inside but they don't let you leave willingly type situation.

Well it's true that we haven't seen those yet...unless you count the zombies.

But...But...those who arrive survive! On the other hand, it would be ironic if Maggie was cooked after burning her picture. I'm not even sure I could get upset. I think I would just be considering the foreshadowing of that moment.

Overall, I enjoyed this season (probably one of the only ones). This episode was okay. Action was good. Story was decent. Until they go to Terminus. There needed to be some explanation of why the Terminus folks imprisoned Maggie and her team (as opposed to what's going to happen - a flashback next season). Additionally, I'm willing to bet the Terminus problem is going to end up being a "misunderstanding." Which will also piss me off.

So, I guess in sum, I was good with this season, but I'm not happy where next season is going to go.

I think the Terminus people are cannibals, or maybe they have a taste for fresh just turned zombies. My theory, newcomers who eat the human/zombie flesh offered to them on a plate are welcomed, people who reject it are eaten. Might explain why Glenn n co wound up in the same place, they made the same decision to reject Terminus as well. I get that just from a feeling about the human size of the drum under the grill, and the people at Terminus seem oddly healthy; they look like they have and have had a steady supply of meat.

I'll bet Rick n crew take over Terminus. They are all stuck on how good it used to be in the prison, or at least they had some sense of security, and they can't totally get over it and that's what they are all searching for. And now the people at Terminus gave them a reason. Maybe Rick will even pull a Governor like move, now that he has come to terms with the inner struggle between humanity and brutality.

I always thought that eating human was unhealthy, by and large. I suspect that eating zombies is worse. There was plenty of evidence of cannibalism (when Rick and crew are running, they pass a cargo container where people are yelling "help" and then pass a rack of human bones).

Cannibal cultists. Here's what I think happened with the "never trust" signs. Way back when Terminus was like the prison. It was a legitimate place of sanctuary where people could come and survive the zombies. However, after a while, they ran into a group similar to Woodbury or the one that Daryl was running with who came in under pretense of peace and then proceeded to attack them and take their resources. Maybe this only happened once and they lost so many people that they kind of snapped or maybe it kept happening and they were losing too much to the false groups and turned bitter. The point is that at some point, Terminus went from being a place of refuge to a trap. The food itself was likely human but was probably also drugged (which is how they got Glenn and Maggie's group).

I was disappointed in this season, the pacing was bad, the character development often felt sketchy and cliche and there were really only maybe 4 good episodes. I could have lived with that because the three episodes that led up to the finale were great but this one was just bad. There was too much left unseen, we still don't know what's going on with Beth (and it irks me that they didn't even try to look for her), the ending of the group that Daryl was with was anti-climactic and the season ended on a weird note. Also, where are Carol and Tyreese (I guess maybe they might be very close and even noticed what happened)? It seemed like they were ahead of everyone for a while and I don't think they spent that many days at that house. In short, after all that slow pacing that happened throughout the season, it felt like they ran out of time to actually resolve many of the season's issues and just chose to try to quickly resolve the Daryl and Rick story lines at the end.

Also eating humans is unhealthy. Eating your own species is usually unhealthy which is part of the reason why cannibalism gets selected against in nature. Basically, it's not about what bacteria, fungi or viruses that the body may carry, it's about the proteins. Proteins are broken down and put back together by the body very specifically. Some of the proteins that are found in the human body are different than the ones we consume which leads to them being broken down and put back together incorrectly. This is called a prion. Prions will often take the place of healthy protein chains in structure, energy metabolism or any other functions the healthy proteins are designed for leading to massive amounts of problems (this is what I believe happens in Mad Cow Disease where the prions actually cause the brain to rot). Prions are particularly dangerous because the immune system does not recognize prions as invaders. That being said it is quite possible they are suffering from the effects (and I would say there is evidence of a deterioration of their mental processes) but don't show the symptoms very noticeably on the outside.

Yeah it is unhealthy long term, but I don't think in the short term. I think it's called 'coo roo' and yeah like the other poster said it's like mad cow disease in humans but I think it usually happens to older people who have been eating for a long while.

I think this season was really good, especially the finale. I was somewhat disappointed with the scene with Darryl's group (I thought it'd be a longer fight) but I thought the rest was good.

I'm hoping this sets up Tyrese to go absolute beast mode on Terminus, killing everyone with his bare hands.
