im in that game and there has been equal dice fail on both sides and i honestly cant remember you guys getting awful dice turn after turn so you cant bitch about dice in that game.

i really didnt expect empire to start bitching about dice, i thought you guys were more classy than that.

either way we have enough wins coming to get us to atleast 28 definete wins while we are ahead in atleast another 4 games.

to be honnest, dice in this war have been quite ok in my games, slightly better than empire, but not scandalous. I don't know about the rest of you so it's an isolated opinion.
vs myth, our last war, I had really bad ones in my games and it was just frustrating to see qwert in the war thread cursing our dice and blaming it all on luck when it was really not what i saw on the battlefield..

Dice always plays a role in every game and in every war. When I'm on the winning side, I've always told my clanmates to tolerate a little bit of dice complaining. It's a normal thing to want to do, and it does no harm to acknowledge that yes, perhaps we had some luck on our side in this or that game. With 2 top clans, luck always is a factor in a win. Dice complaining is normal, even for veteran players. This is swimmerdude's very 1st clan war, so let him have his rant. Also, the continued baiting about players jumping ship doesn't help. That I moved clans has nothing to do with this war. I know it's all in good fun, and I'm fine with it. However, a team that has the upper hand should wisely tone down the taunts, to avoid things getting too out of hand, imo.

Well things have been quiet in this thread for a while and i guess some people missed the banter,griff even rolled out a new sig to try to get a reaction out of you guys, we like fun wars and most of this war has been fun and enjoyable.

Empire were the favourites coming into this war and i suppose when someone brings up dice about why we are winning its gonna provoke us into a strong reaction, i dont think anyone likes someone complaining about dice but when we have fought hard to win and prove all the haters wrong it pisses me off that much more when someone says it down to luck. im sure swimmer was just venting ao i hope there will be no more talk about the dice.

No, you guys have played very well.

And in regards to all the sitting, you guys put it right on the money. We have had to do more emergency covering the last month then probably all of our last 3 wars combined, which is unfortunate. I don't think we had the focus to get things done, but that isn't on you guys, that is on us.

I will be the first to say Game 10704315 Ardennes dubs was as lopsided of a drop and turn order as can be, but was still a good game even though it was to be ours from the start. Same for Prohibition Chicago dubs, we dropped two bonuses and got to go first also. Game 10625445 has been bad dice all around, but slightly worst for your team so far. Eastern Hemisphere Game 10543904 I'm sure you guys are still wondering how we turned that around, but so are we. Even with your turn sitting and a couple of missed turns you guys played as well as your dice allowed.

Dice are a funny thing.... I think most of us only remember the bad dice that are fresh in our memories or the great dice that the other team just had. I get pissed all the time but I have learned that in wars we are going to lose and win some that we shouldn't have due to dice so it usually works out about even.

In our war against IA I was so mad at the dice in round two that I was starting to compile dice stats I knew it was so lopsided I was mad but I never finished putting them together because we had a great round three and it didn't matter anymore.

Anyway.... regardless of the outcome this has been a great war guys!

cairns dubs is a winner, finished all my games for this war; gl pack to get the final win!!!

and about dice complain; i think it's normal as long as it reflects reality and if you are not qwerting around. and given that in this war a few games have been flipped surprisingly, it's normal to talk about dice luck; why ignore it? i'm always open to a polite and objective dice discution as long as it stays that way.

But yes, the amount of turns account sitted on your side was kind of weird on our perspective, and i guess it didn't help either.
