North Carolina's young line up has righted the ship winning 6th straight including a win against ranked Texas (assuming the unfinished game where they have big lead is a victory).

Columbia extended it winning streak to 9 straight games, but due to the weather on the east coast.. The lack of rest was evident when the Lions had their first loss of the season on the road.

Game 9 results: Columbia trumps the Big east Syracuse ;)

Game 8175713 Columbia wins in Round 13 27-22
Game 8175711 Syracuse wins in Round 13 22-27
Game 8175714 Columbia wins in Round 9 29-19

2/3 wins = + 2

Final Score: Lions win 80-68

Game 10 was a loss at Toledo.

Late News from Ohio: After a week of the video being under review the Longhorns win over Ohio is official. Texas wins 88-60 in a game that was reminiscent of the 60's with no shot clock. Coach Caz stated "We knew we had won the game but it took a while to be official. Ohio got penalized at the beginning of the 2nd half as they did not come out of the locker room."

Flex: Caz wins in 15-8-6

The Texas Longhorns have a horrible Holiday Season as they lose two games by HUGE margins!

First the Spartans from Mich. State looked like the had "300" on the court as they defeat the Horns 78-52. Coach Caz had this to say about the game "Well, now I know what Xerxes felt like at the Hell's gate in ancient Greece, except I lost the battle and the war!"

Then Texas had their rematch with Maryland. Maryland was looking for revenge after the Horns upset them in season opening tournament when Maryland was #1. This game was faced paced with both teams scoring lots of points quickly but the Terps just would never let up and won the game 81-49.

After the Horns got back to campus in Austin coach Caz had this to say "Well, we have played very good in parts of this season so far but if we continue playing like this when conference season opens up, then we will not make the Big Dance in March!"

standings and season link are updated along with the RPI...Cornell continues to hold down the No. 1 spot, while Utah stays unbeaten at 10-0 so far.

Game 13s will be out by the morning. If you're still playing back a game or two...no big deal, but try to catch back up to speed as best you can. I'm hoping to add in newsletters here in the New Year to bring some more fun to the thread. :)

Sent out the league portion of the schedule tonight...many pms say it's the start of the "Big-10" schedule...just ignore that...basically means it's a game in whichever league you are part of...forgot to switch it out as the night grew on :)

Nonleague games will go out Tuesday morning.
