Heartbreak for Rovers, 2 late goals (at 84 and 92) cost us a 1-nil over Sunderland that would've been huge. :(

And Lionel Messi (AKA God himself) doesn't. You know why? Because Messi is the best in the world, not Ronaldo.

stick messi in another team and lets see how he does , without his helpers (xavi iniesta) i dont think he is the greatest there has been.

I absolutly hate Ronaldo but i think messi isnt neary as effective if he didnt have the players around him , stick him in man utd , milan , bayern or any other top team and i bet his goal count drops. Dont get me wrong messi is a magnificant player but Ronaldo has same amount of goals and has played in different teams which puts him ahead in my book for ballon d'or.

I think football is 11 players and no one can do everything alone. the equalizer against Real Madrid was a great play making scored eventually by Alexis.. If Alexis missed the chance then the effort made my Messi would have gone meaningless. but hey, it's Alexis' job to receive the amazing gifts like than and score em.

EDIT: Ronaldo always wants to be the hero who does everything alone, and this is not a teamwork.

I don't particularly like Vidic, and I hate Man Utd, but that was a fuckin nasty injury!

Well shitty will be top for Christmas , considering all the injures we've had its a wonder that we are still only 3 pts behind them and now when United tradationally get better in the secnd half of the season we are gonna be in a good spot to regain the title. We just need a mid fielder bought in the transfer window

Kaka would be a good choice. A great talent underestimated because of these last years in Madrid.
It's a win/win.

Robin wins another award for hitting 20 goals. Aguero looks good.

Anyone thoughts on Suarez situation, and the fact that Terry now faces legal action?

down with the racists!

But honestly, even with all the denying, there isn't smoke without fire, and the prosecutor did say they had enough to convict Terry, so the heats very much on him

Ok. Suarez attitude shows he meant harm. Yet you say everything in the field to make your adversary lose control. And I believe, at least in Mexico, that what you say or do in the field stays in the field. Both did wrong. I'm a fan of Man. Utd. but Evra shouldn't have behaved like a little girl. Why didn't he just answered with a comment about Suarez teeth?

Now, as Suarez's defense alleged, in Latin America we use the term "negro" (black) without meaning harm. It's just that in most South American countries there are only a few (tha f*ck I don't know the politically correct term, I guess African American would do) African Americans and they are integrated within society, blended, not segregated. So when we say "negro" to anyone you are not thinking in all the racial prejudices, you are merely referring to the darker than normal (in that society) skin color, not necessarily of the African type. We all have 3 or more friends whom we call negro in an affectionate way, with them embracing since childhood the nickname.

However, you can see Suarez meant to bother Evra.

8 games isn't a lot or a few, it's just a number that the Premier chose because they measured what they needed to do in order to keep a good reputation in most people's eyes.

Pirlo, go f*ck yourself. Wise up.

nietzsche, good post. If he serves his 8 matches, I do believe the first game he will be back for is against United. Ironic huh?

Suarez deserves every moment of his ban. If the FA have any sense they will ban Terry too and if they don't that is a ridiculous injustice and would only be because he is British that he gets away with it.

On a lighter note am dead excited for tonight's game - up the Spurs!!!

An average week for my dream team - Ba and Aguero both netted a couple but poor old Phil Jones got taken off early and Micah Richards in the 60th minute meaning I was double robbed of my clean sheet bonus!

Wow, that's a little bit too much info, and a little bit gay. However, if that's what floats your boat Pirlo, I'm not going to stop you.

Vermaelen is a good shout for dream team chaps, looks like a striker when he gets into the opponents' 18-yard box.
