self-report: according to the new map rank, my run was 205. i'm guessing it counts by end of game time stamp which would be different, and arguably better, than other methods available. other gallant record attempters should have this device applied to them.

This is absolutely spot on.

A manual count is extremely unlikely to get the correct figure without going into all of the game logs and looking at the game end timestamp.
Listings for finished games are ordered by game number - game numbers are ordered by game start not game end.

Simple example:

Start games 1,2,3 in that order.

Game 1 finishes, you win.
Game 3 finishes you win.
Game 2 finishes you lose.

The listing shows 1,2,3 and looks like win-lose-win when in actual fact it is win-win-lose.

Map Rank takes the game end timestamps exactly as rabbiton said.

I've downloaded the uber Map Rank V1.6.4 script just now and have made the following observations below;
My 3 highest winning streaks from games which are completed in sequence and not by its created number.
1. Games completed in sequence from #1994 until #2089, there are 96 games.
2. Games completed in sequence from #1521 until #1521, there are 78 games.
3. Games completed in sequence from #1439 until #1514, there are 76 games.

Nice job indeed- to you as well Blitz. Quite ironic that you've won 3 of 5 singles against me and I'm 3 of 4 on you in team games... bit of role reversal.
