why do we need two versions when the old one is fine and the new one sucks and just about everybody agrees on that. just change it back, go ahead and add me to whatever petition.

I have to point out that so far there are 40 people named on a petition...

Is it not the case that this is not a large number?

There are 21000 active users...

I don't know the number who are active in the forums though.

The first 15 pages of the member list have over 200 posts... at 50 users per page.

so 50*15 = 750... lets say - 1/3 of those have left?

500 -> 40 users = 12.5% or a 1/6.

Does this not make it therefore 5/6's popular?

C.

And of those 21000 members how many contributed per day to the relevent thread in the foundry ? Whats more important to you, finding a solution to what has obviously been an unpopular exercise or simply being defensive and ignoring the clear wish of many [-X

Oh btw maybe its a good idea to never never never change it again once you turned the old version back in place.

Put me on the petition to put the old map up.

I noticed in Ancient Greece they are black dots, not white, this makes the territories very visible and the unit number pop out, thus it works.

Lowering to 50% or 45% may do the trick as well.

Thank you Andy for considering all of our input and being cool about it.

It is a really awful modification. Please make it optional.

I cannot see the colours properly anymore.

It's like staring into a bright light.

Please please give it some thought. Make it optional.

:o OMG

When I read everybody's comment on this new map I thought it must be awful, hideous! But then I saw it and I'm still trying to figure out what the fuss is about, it hardly changed! It just looks fresher.

I think the map still looks fine.

Add me to the petition as well.. you moderators should at least make a poll we can vote on... maybe even post it as a message on our "active games" so more will see it.

I think its ridiculous if paying members of the community are having a map forced upon us when an overwhelming amount of players have come out against it.

I'll even go as far as to say that if you remove the circles from the classic map, I'll buy a premium membership.

This offer good till the end of the day.

Perhaps you have misread my post with your red veiled eyes...

Obviously your opinion is that you dislike it - my opinion is that I like it as it fixes several issues that needed fixing.

SO we are both biased...

What I was trying to point out - is that perhaps the vocal people are the Minority - not the majority? And just because people aren't saying they hate it - doesn't mean that their point of view should be ignored?

I'd like to join any petition to change the classic map back.

We just can’t visualise groups of colours now because the light shading around the colours makes all of the colours look the same to the peripheral vision of the eye. It really is just physically wrong.
Ruining this map is basically ruining the fundamental lure of Conquer Club.
I think you should put it to a vote whether the new map should be kept or not, rather than force this map on the loyal conquer club players.
