Iron Butterfly that's my horse. In other news, from my internet research, that picture that came up on Zivel's death is "Three Clowns" by "Barry Leighton-Jones", but I can't see where the names have come from
I think it's likely mafia killed the clowns, but it could have been a SK or whatnot.

Looking at jak on that one, and his "Mafia didn't do that" comment
All I will say on this matter, is do not mess with a JOAT that you have no idea what the 4 night actions are. If you're gonna mess with the avatar, you're gonna get.. burned.

So what are your 4 actions? You appear to be claiming that one is a vig kill that you used last night on Zivel as retaliation... that's not exactly town sounding, to be honest.

Are you trying to sound scummy? You're succeeding...
I'm not sure how far to push for info here. A claimed town person should surely volunteer any night actions and results. I far to often see townies try to shroud their actions in mystery because they think it will make them more powerful. In reality, it makes them look like scum, and keeps town in the dark. It also serves to be a magnet for attention and doesn't allow town to move on. We have short days already, which can be made shorter, so we don't really have time to waste...it's frustrating to me.
Oh, and shooting on d1 isn't recommended. I don't think jak shot...

No, I killed him. Want to know what's scummy? Pushing for a lynch just for the sake of killing. Go back and read. You are too focused on me.
No, I will not say the other 3 actions available to me until I use them or they become relevant. You pushed for a claim, either you believe my claim or you don't. I already told you I'm switching up how I play and part of it is to not bow down to potential scum just because they get pissy at me for being honest and actually hunting for people.
No, it's not a distraction, you're MAKING it a distraction. Just because I claimed does not mean I owe you anything.
1.) I am not taking orders this game.
2.) I am not revealing my actions every single night because you get all antsy.
I killed Zivel, Zivel acted scummy during a day already had one person (who could of been town for all we knew at the time) dying. He wanted people to flip for more "reads" on D1, so I flipped him on N1 for more "reads".
If anyone should be explaining things, it should be this clock guy. It's not mafia role as Mafia definitely failed last night. So it's either a premature town role or a third party role.
Because now we have no idea who mafia were looking to kill last night so we have 0 mafia reads really for Day 1's interaction.
If you wish to waste more time on me Nebuch, go ahead. If people want my help they'll show they want it. Not demand it with little evidence of them even being town to begin with.

Lol...this seems to be consistent with your meta though...thinking you are smarter than the rest of us, and we should all just follow you. Then going off on anyone who questions you. I don't like it. Whatevs...
I admit to being on you, as you are my guy to watch...cry all you want about it.
I still don't understand why you shoot on n1. History tells me this is almost always a bad idea.
How would a mafia kill be beneficial to town? This really throws me off? So you blame the clock for stopping kills? How horrible! Hang the clock guy, everyone, he averted a mafia kill last night! You seem a bit flustered by just a few questions, jak. Why?

I am not flustered, simply annoyed with everyone expecting me to haul all the weight every time. This time I'm simply not doing it.
How would it help town? Well gee, besides finding out who might of seemed like a threat to them thus giving a bit of a read as to who it may or may not be is a tough one.
You guys were pushing on me to be lynched D1 now you turn around and get upset that I killed someone N1. He at least had up to that final vote thing. He even got the chance to use his action last night. Now we have the D1 extra kill he so wanted. I only delivered what he asked for.

I have to agree that the clock mechanic must either be town or 3rd party. And I'd lean more 3rd party since I don't believe town would want to prematurely end a day.
As far as shooting N1, I don't know that I'd pick the kill action the first night given the lack of posts to go on so I have to disagree with your action Jak.

Look at it as I can't use it any following nights.
If Zivel popped mafia, it'd be a whole other story of everyone's "opinion" on me shooting N1.

Guys, Jak is the most important player in every game ever, and he always does all the work. Why doesn't anyone but Jak do anything in these games ever?
Here's the facts:
You're a claimed JOAT, so you have multiple abilities.
One of these is a killing ability, which you chose to use on Zivel.
You're stated reasons for using your kill on NIGHT ONE were that he "acted scummy" and he "wanted people to flip for more reads," and you were "delivering what he asked for."
Why shouldn't we lynch you jak? I mean, what have you legitimately done for town? Killed a townie? Yeah, that helps bunches. You shot on night 1, a vig tactic that's universally despised, especially since there are three other actions that could have helped town. At this point you're practically a policy lynch, in my books. I fail to see any reason to not lynch you before the end of the day.
Vote jak111.

IF he had flipped mafia, and you claimed the kill, then you'd be under just as much scrutiny as you are now. People would question whether:
A) You aren't scum trying to claim a kill to prove you're town, and
B) How the hell you managed to choose mafia on the first night.
Its purely speculation as to what "may" have happened had Zivel turned up mafia, but he didn't, so its useless.

Vote Jak.
I feel like I don't even have to explain my vote, but basically he vigged town instead of investigating + targeted someone that was not his biggest scumread (evidenced by how his last vote - other than no-lynch - was not focused at Zibel, but spiesr) + is refusing to cooperate (phrases like I'll do what I want or don't tell me what to do) + killed Zivel to get "reads", yet didn't provide a single read out of Zivel's death so far.

No Jmac, I wouldn't be. It's the fact he popped town that everyone is getting their panties in a knot. The fact no one bothers going past my surface statements and into why Zivel was a good/bad choice to kill is sad. Basically scum see me as an easy lynch target, so it would not surprise me if there's quite a few that hop onto the wagon today (if they weren't already on it yesterday).
Rodion, step back and think about it for a second.
I am the Avatar, 4 elements, 4 powers. I used FIRE to KILL.
I have Air, Earth and Water left. Do any of those sound like investigation powers to you?

OMGUS NK? Way to be if you are the pro town hero. Really though that isn't even a good move for scum Killing N1. Bah I dislike this.
So if alignment is totally random then Jak's looking pretty grim, and If it came to a runnoff I would vote for him, but I can't help that I get stupid townie vibes from him. I would like to pursue other courses earlier in the day however. We can only get two things from this, a lynch or no lynch. with other people we can get claims and a whole other wealth of information. I would suggest looking back at Jak once the day is a little bit later and we have turn over a few other rock's to see what is underneath.
FP,
Let me guess
Earth Jails Fire kills, air is some sort of stealth/evade, and the verdict is out on water. I would have given an Inv to water of some sort.

Now people wonder why I make mistakes, when pick a game I was not attacked personally in calling my theories or reads stupid in some way shape or form. It's pretty hard to work alone every single time when people refuse to just hear me out and take it as is. Instead it must be some grand master plot to be anti-town or not good enough to be town.
All I did yesterday was come up with a few theories and mention I am changing my style around a bit, immediately get attacked and have to revert back to my old ways a bit to protect myself from a lynch.
I killed a guy in the night I believed to come up as scummy for what we had and my other powers are not as useful without a bit more knowledge from others.
Literally, if town wants my help, show it. They wonder why I'm coming off as anti-town it's because no one is here trying to help out at all. I've claimed and am expected to report to you, but if I'm honest I'm yet again attacked.
That's why I'm more of a not going to bend over for anyone attitude this game. I'm sick of all my theories being called shit just because they're a bit out there sometimes. It's better than doing nothing all day like I could copy some of you and lay low with small inputs here and there with nothing trying to add value.
I mean, I can. I'll sit back, quote a few posts every day or two and call them scummy then sit back some more and let you all fight it out. Instead I'm here trying to do something for town and now I can't because all the focus is on me for bogus reasons.

Jak.... Powers don't matter if you don't use them well...
I know you think everyone is always on you... But they are always on me too... We all gang up on each other. That's what this game is. It still does not mean that you can go around acting like an insane person who just randomly does things... Maybe it is YOU who should listen to US more... Especially since you have a habit of being WRONG. Compare your correct guesses and hunches to your wrong ones...

So Jak, as I understand it, you're saying that (a) you are a JOAT that used his killpower first chance he got to resolve some petty feud about someone "trying to kill you" during day 1, and that (b) you are town and we are stupid to believe otherwise... while at the same time, the kill that you claimed is the
only kill that went through in a 22 player CYOC game. This brings about the assumptions that (a) we likely have more than one way to protect town against the night kills, (b) most of these were successful after a highly unproductive day, and (c) the mafia did not roleblock you which means they have no roleblocker (which is strange in such a big game). You can throw all the wifom you have against that last one, but if I were a mafia roleblocker you'd have been my primary target last night.
I killed a guy in the night I believed to come up as scummy for what we had and my other powers are not as useful without a bit more knowledge from others.
This is just plain wrong. The bold part is the problem. A town-aligned killing PR especially becomes useful with a bit of knowledge; it basically is an investigation that never yields a false result. If you had claimed unlimited kills, I wouldn't have minded as much, but you just gave away your most powerful weapon on a hunch, which is why I painted the second half of that phrase red. We had next to nothing, and now your role has become a lot less useful.
But I must assume you knew all that. This is not your first mafia game, not even close. Even you should realise that this is a no brainer.
Vote Jak. I'm going to agree with Anark on this one: you really should climb off that high ivory tower of yours, because chances are we'll burn it down.
I'm all for more discussion and scumhunting while the day lasts, but I very much doubt that my vote will change or that I will remove it at all.

I (and I assume most of us) have no idea, since you decided not to share. You could slap pretty much any sort of action onto flavor or broad as that. Some sort of investigation is pretty standard for a JOAT to have. Accordingly I would assume you have one unless you indicated otherwise.

I may agree with Edoc'sil that we should hold off on lynching overall but I waited on voting jak before and this is the result. Vote Jak. At this point it's as much policy lynch as anything. If you are town, this isn't the first time you acting in an arrogant manner has unfairly cost a townie their life. Not to mention that you've made it quite clear that anyone who disagrees with you is potentially going to fall into your sights. One shot or not, town cannot afford loose cannons who cost other townies their lives. So I want you lynched not just for this game but as a message to all games where this could happen. You claim Zivel you found Zivel scummy. I disagree. Okay, that's not by itself lynchable. What is lynchable, in my honest opinion, is that, on top of your flawed logic and theories (I don't even care if they are off as much as that you often refuse to acknowledge when they are wrong or unlikely) and OMGus vote on Spiesr, you took the MOST DRASTIC measure on NIGHT 1 to test this. Okay, you don't have an investigation. Do you have a role block? or even any ability that involves a role block as part of the ability? Even waiting around and trying to start a case the next day is preferable to the action you took.
As far as the clock, all I can conclude is that if Jak did indeed kill Zivel as he claims (I have no reason to doubt this) and he is not mafia than the clock player is most likely not mafia as they would have formulated a kill quicker knowing that the deadline was shortened. Some assumptions that I am presenting as possibilities for the clock:
a. The clock can use this ability either in a limited or indefinite manner, however to shorten a day, they must be also shorten the night. Not definite but the easiest answer as to why both the day and the night phase were shortened.
b. This ability can only be used within a certain time frame before the deadline.
c. The clock was a part of yesterday's horse game and used the ability to avoid being lynched or otherwise was hoping to kill Virus. This is not definite, it's very much speculative and WIFOMy but it's a possibility worth noting, IMO.
Furthermore, I meant to do this day 1 but the early countdown threw me off timing. I am going with the opinion that the activity checks do not work unless they are enforced as much as it can. Here is a list of all the players and those who they are watching. I am going to request that each of these players report on the person they are watching at least once (preferably more often) today. Those that already have will be bolded:
