This is obviously the best possible solution. Spamalot was a conversation thread (according to what I saw there), and should not have gotten deleted. The longest thread thread thing is just random (that is spam). AK just lost his mind...did Spamalot really do anything that bad? If they did, most likely it was just joking around that occurred in threads that were dead anyway. The two wrongs don't make a right thing does not apply here, as it is only fair for both threads to stay or both to go (which both staying would be much better).

While I appreciate both of you guys sentiments, I'm not sure that's the best policy. It only gives people who criticised Spamalot as a thread (and as a group) more ammo, and makes it less likely we'll be treated benevolently in the future.
I admit to going on a brief spampage last night; but with hindsight I'm not sure that just vandalising the forums (as much fun as it might be :twisted: ) is the right course of action at this moment in time.

What do you reckon?

Heh, you're right. You took a pretty big hit dude. Guess it's all about hitting 'King of the hill', 'which song' and 'TPBM' pretty hard. Or else getting down and dirty in Flame wars; that place is mad good fun for racking up posts... it really is all just spam.

Diddle remeber it isnt about the post count it is about the fact we dont have a central location for our group.

well you could always go get a lifesize mod voodoo doll and kill two birds with one stone. Stick pins in it to vent your frustrations and stick, well you know, for that other "frustration". :lol:
