This game is going like games at MS. Far to slow.
IGS said he was "Cautious Tourist," Exile said he was "Gary Harris" and I said I was "Samantha Owen." Since this game doesn't have an existing theme with real characters (like for example Tombstone had Wyatt Earp), we can't put much merit on roleclaims. Anyone could make up a name now. However, I tend to believe IGS is town because he claimed bulletproof. I'm willing to believe Exile for now because he was the first to say an actual name. I said a female name which Guilty Biscuit questioned because he saw me use a female roleclaim in Manhunt. That game is over now and I was scum, so that one was bogus. This one is not. I claimed female townie before I made a bogus one in Manhunt. Plus I think I'm still alive because I've been a subject of possible scum. Mafia leave scummy town alone in hopes they'll get lynched.
Fircoal and Mandy, you continue to vote each other. You say you do it to each other all the time, but the town is two days behind and you continue to joke about it. I think one of you, or possibly both are mafia. Below is a quote by Fircoal making sure we all know "they do this all the time."
Fircoal wrote:for dummies wrote:wow fircoal. i thought you would be above a "OMGUS" vote
ACtually, we and MAndy vote each other in a lot of games.

Pancake continues to IMO appear helpful without adding much and has been a spammer.
Aimless hasn't posted much. But I think he's had exams lately and when he has posted it appears helpful.
Guilty_Biscuit has appeared to be helpful with his post count tally (showing everyone's post count in this game that was on and off topic), but he disappeared yesterday.
jnd94 has been active which is important in this slow moving game.
for dummies has not posted a whole lot, but steadily through the game, but really doesn't appear to add much and he
didn't vote the last two days. It's hard to tell who voted and who didn't each day because Spin didn't post final day vote counts.
red bull didn't vote OR post yesterday at all.
Spinwizard, could you please post the final vote count each day?

Sorry, but when the only serious post of the day is when you give out a pretty much has to be idea, there is nothing to respond to. And because of the long night, it's hard to remember who I was fingering, yesterday.

Right, but it's always good to know who's saying they're what. They could slip later on, or at least we have an idea of who's probably pro-town.

I labeled that whole thing with colors/underline.
Blue: They do always do that, but on Day 4? Out of the ordinary for them.
Red: If I spam, it keeps the page up. And if the page is up, people will see it and post.
Green: He hasn't posted much because, as you said, he had exams and then came the eternal night. So he hasn't had much of a chance to post today.
Pink: I don't think GB left the site, but he did leave the forums, or at least that's how it looks.
Underline: Always good to have posters.
Goldenrod:It is hard to tell because Spin didn't post them, and with the situation, we can't afford not to vote.
Teal: I heard him say he was doing a lot of 17-20 hour days recently, but he's been posting more now.
And final vote counts would be appreciated.
Your new strategy of pointing out everybody is... different for you. I'm starting to doubt that it was all overconfidence, as Tombstone was a while ago. Also, a name doesn't have to mean anything. I could go into a phone book and look up a name to claim with f I were scum. Given, that's a bit extreme and I don't think you would do that, but It's entirely possible.

My strategy is different, I guess. I count this as really only my third game here because in two of the ones I've joined, I was killed on the first night, so I don't know how you could really know me well enough to question my strategy. My choosing to point out everyone probably came from the fact that I may be lynched and I want to do what I can while I'm still here.
I agree a name doesn't have to mean anything. Didn't I already say that? I was saying in this game that we shouldn't necessarily trust any roleclaims including my own, because as you said I could pick one out of a phone book. At the same time we don't have many clues at this point with no lynches and we may have to trust them somewhat.

I'm tempted to agree with the whole "mandy or Fircoal" thing. Day 4, especially in a game that has gone as poorly as this one has for the town, seems like a bad time to start bickering and voting each other.
On the other hand, false dichotomies are bad traps for the town to fall into, so I wouldn't give that theory too much credit.
The only person I feel is definitely town right now it pancake, although I could really say why. ML I've had my suspicions about, but at the moment I'm leaning towards town. He's playing aggressively, but I just get the feeling that he's coming at this from a town perspective as opposed to a scum perspective (just a hunch, though; this may change).
The person I'm most suspicious of right now is GB. Despite the eternal night, we still had a no-kill. What are the odds that the mafia (godfather?) forgot to send in a kill? If this is the case, then the most likely suspect is GB. Thus, I think that if he isn't modkilled, he's probably a likely lynch target.
That said, I think we should be cautious against hasty action; we're probably pretty close to LYLO.

i agree with aimless. of all the players it seems like Gb would be the most likely to not send in a kill during the night

Vote Fircoal for the revenge vote on Mandy. I'm starting to believe Mandy more and more as i play more games with him. His theories are usually right. Besides that, Fir and Mandy are metagaming as an excuse for voting each other. They both look fairly suspicious, but because Mandy is usuallly right, Im gonna go with him.

That's because you saw my only theory that proved to be correct.

I am just messing around with Fircoal, but I honestly don't get much of this game.
In fact, due to my complete lack of inspiration, I think that I will role-claim and try to help you that way. I am a Cop. On the first night, I investigated Narc (I think) and got pro-town, on second I investigated Mountain_Lion and got Pro-town, and on the third I investigated Guilty-Biscuit and got Pro-town. Since Biscuit seemed to me to be the scummiest player by far, I am becoming more and more convinced that I am a Naive Cop. I hope that this helped.

Could there be more than one Cop in a game this small? I suppose a Naive Cop doesn't count for much anyway.
If GB doesn't post during this day, we won't need to lynch him right? because he'll get modkilled? We should look elsewhere unless he posts.

That would explain if GB hasn't been around and he's the GF, that he didn't send in the kill. Then Mandy would be THE cop. Lynching GB would not only be a possible mafia, but the Godfather AND we could confirm Mandy being sane.
Does anyone else think we should lynch GB and have whoever the Doc is protect Mandy? This seems like a good route to take at the moment.

That's probably our best option right now. We've got nothing else to go on.
Vote GB.
