Gonna be a fun day today. Kings will win opener with 4-2, Pens win opener, 3-2 (on overtime). Those are my psychic predictions. (Don't criticize them afterwards if you didn't post any predictions yourself.)

Don't know about that. Blackhawks are looking awfully good right now...

I think the Redwings gave Chicago a big scare
and realize they were fortunate to survive...
which renewed their focus to make the finals.
Not worried about the Penguins and still expect
a Chicago/Pittsburgh Cup Final.

I certainly hope Boston can beat Pittsburgh. I'd much rather see an Original 6 Finals.
Bollocks.

The Carolina Hurricanes and the Dallas Stars debuted new uniforms yesterday. Take a look:
Carolina

Dallas

The Hurricanes are... blah. The home jersey looks like they're trying to copy Detroit, and the road jersey reminds me of Montreal, because of that yoke.
The Stars I hate. The jersey itself isn't horrible, but that logo I can't stand.
Anyway, thoughts?
Bollocks.

The Canes sweaters look like a cross between the Coyotes and Habs. They are okay. Nothing great. but okay. I do like the simpler designs in hockey sweaters and this is on the right track.
The Stars though. *ugh* The logo reminds me of the Ducks logo too much. And the sweaters are way to similar to the Hartford Whalers in colour scheme. Don't like them at all.

Never expected this. The Penguins have scored 2 total goals in 3 games. Incredible.
Bollocks.

I've only seen Game 1 and they caught a lot of iron in the opener,
so I figured they'd sort it out. Bruins looking to close it out
in four games is a stunner.

I don't understand that series. Boston looked so much better than us it's disgusting.
Hopefully Bylsma gets canned within the week.

This was by far the most head-scratching series. Pittsburgh scored TWO GOALS IN FOUR GAMES. They got shutout TWICE. And both Crosby and Malkin played all four games. What the hell happened???
All that said... hahahaha I'm so glad the Pens got bounced and embarrassed! HAHAHAHA
Bollocks.

The Blackcocks will win! Oops....I meant the Blackhawks.
I took a look at NHL.com today and the Bruin players looked too happy. The Pens players looked too happy after having won round two. You don't win the Stanley cup by being happy!

Don't think he will but I think he should. His team scores more than four goals a game in two rounds, his top players are clicking, then they come in, clearly unprepared, to meet the team they've won all games against during the regular season, and they score two goals in 4 games against them. Okay, so the players got in a slump, all at the same time, which is odd to say the least but it's the coach job to get them out of the slump, he didn't, so Bylsma has to take much of the blame for this. Maybe the Rangers and Penguins should switch coaches!? Torts is a Stanley cup winning coach, so is Bylsma, neither of them have taken their team to where they wanted in the last few years. Seems like a good deal.

Pittsburgh signs Bylsma for another two year. Guess that swap I was speculating won't be happening. I think the Pens made a big mistake rehiring him. Well it's actually quite good, one less team to worry about hah.

I said this on the Pens fan forum, but it's sad to realize that we're going to be the favorites for the next two years and I still think he should be fired.
