Right now your at 18 countries

3 player game - 6 each 0 neutrals
4 player game - 4 each 2 neutrals
5 player game - 3 each 3 neutrals
6 player game - 3 each 0 neutrals

Seems ok if you add a territory it becomes 19 and

3 player game - 6 each 1 neutrals
4 player game - 4 each 3 neutrals
5 player game - 3 each 4 neutrals
6 player game - 3 each 1 neutrals

That is bad and then if you remove one it becomes 17 and

3 player game - 5 each 2 neutrals
4 player game - 4 each 1 neutrals
5 player game - 3 each 2 neutrals
6 player game - 2 each 5 neutrals

You need atleast 18 because in the 6 player games, people would be screwed with only 2 territories

I say stick to 18 or maybe go to 20

EDIT: also the lowercase "a" in along on the left side seems really light...maybe darken it a little

Nice penguins. I'm voting for Doodle Earth now :D

Seems kind of unbalanced though, with "Doodle" getting two pictures, and "Earth" getting none. Maybe the 'a' in "Earth" could be a tadpole or something? Not sure if a 7-year-old would care to draw a tadpole though.

If you're looking for reasonable ways to misspell something, you could use "Dessert" instead of "Desert", since that's one of those commonly confused word pairs. (Has this been suggested before? It seems so obvious...) However, I'm just giving this as a possibility. Two "mistakes" in the same name is probably overdoing it, and I think "Sarah Desert" is the more cute/clever variation.

Yiu should make the compass a little sloppier.

I personally like World 0.5 better because it works better with the current conquer club maps. And it sounds better.

PimpCaneYoAss is right. I prefer it if you change it to 20 though.

Nice map, I like Doodle Earth (possibly Doodle World) better.

What's wrong with "It's a small world" as the title? It's fun.

"World 5.0" takes it a bit too seriously. Since we already have a World 2.1 I'd choose an original title.

So, I'm going to put up a poll as to the number of territories this map should have. So far for options I'm thinking:

Fewer than 18
18
19/20
21
22-24
25
more than 25

Any other brilliant ideas?

I vote 19/20 ( 18 is just not enough!)

I don't think some of those values are worth considering, due to the amount of neutral armies it would generate. I'd take out 19, 22, and 23, and have the options be
<18
18
20/21
24/25

On the other hand, 24 can yield four neutral territories for a five-player game, while 25 gives at most one for three, four, and six players, so I think they should be separate answers.

Ah, I didn't realize you were separating options that way. I grouped them together because there's a gap on both sides (18-20 and 21-24). I was thinking that if people are happy with 24, then they'd probably be ok with 25, since it seems to be the approximate number that's up for debate currently.

Separating options isn't an issue for me though. I just wanted 19, 22, and 23 removed, because the previous list had options of "19/20" and "22-24", but for both of those, only one of the values in the range is actually viable.

I think 18 is good. One thing you're forgetting is if you have 7 or whatever extra territories, you need 7 extra names.

I think 18 is good as it certainly has the "small" feeling.

2oteritories
3 players 6teritories 2 neutral
4 players 5teritories 0 neutral
5 players 4teritories 0 neutral
6 players 3teritories 2 neutral

21teritories
3 players 7teritories 0 neutral
4 players 5teritories 1 neutral
5 players 4teritories 1 neutral
6 players 3teritories 3 neutral

since this map is not playable with 6 anyway. (especcialy an assasin game would be finsihed in 3 turns...) i think 21 or 20 is the best option

18 I think is the least you can go. I think the number of countries should be divisible by 3 because that will most likely be the most common number of players on this map.

21 is a good number because it is 1/2 the standard 42 country map. So for 1/2 the number of players (3) everyone still starts with 7 countries and things remain balanced.

24 is the best number as far as minimizing neutrals is concerned. In this case only 5 player games would yield neutral territories, and you can't avoid that until you get all the way up to 60 total countries.

But between 18, 21, and 24 I'm not sure which is best. I think I like the concept of 21 better than the others but it yeilds neutrals on everything except 3 players.

Well, as sully says, 24 would be best in terms of numbers - only 5 player games give neutrals but that might spoil the effect of it being a "small world". If so, I would be inclined to either leave it at 18 or raise it to 20.

24 might be ok, but I still like 20 better because it suits the "Kid drawing" theme.

I still love this idea. I'm all for making it small. 21 is the biggest it should be, In my opinion.
