Sorry guys - but my personal life is crazy busy right now. I'm not going to have any time soon to work on these mountains. I suggest you go back to an earlier draft, or try to move on with them how they are.

Looking nice Lancelot du Lac. :)
I think that perhaps the two legends need the same border to provide some similar design connection. IMHO.

You will need to change colors up. It is a total wreck for color blind people.

I am not colorblind so I cannot say what is best. . But he can try some other color combos.

And they still all follow the same sorta pattern. Either way I am sure this can be fixed pretty easy.

[moved]

Seems the progress of this map has stalled. This map will be placed on vacation for a period of no longer than 6 months. Should the mapmaker wish to pick up where they left off, please make an update and contact any CA to get the thread moved back to the main Foundry. At which time further work on gameplay may be required do to possible changing standards over the vacation period. Should this be necessary, the mapmaker will make necessary updates to gameplay, with the possible stipulation that the gameplay stamp may be striped until such time as is necessary to reevaluate the map to be sure it meets the standards of gameplay.

Here Mishalex used the advice RjBeals to draw mountains. It is a beautiful work.

This is the last step to complete the map. Finish the damn mountains ;-).

Is that okay? If so, I'll update the final map.

The mountains are better, but are incomplete. the map has texture, and the mountains have none. The textures don't have to be the same, in fact it'd be better if they were different, but this difference makes the mountains look slapped onto the map, rather than be a part of it.

The revise is just for the moutains. I think it is the better version for the mountains !

What do you think ?

i'm quite lost, don't know what to think about it... Maybe the 10.1 version of moutains, made by lancelot was better, don't know...

I think you should remove the emboss texture from the whole map. To me it looks like a quick filter was applied, and doesn't enhance the graphical elements at all. Now Lance and Mishalex - I like you two a lot and you certainly have stamina - but you can't just drop clip art mountains onto this map and expect it to work. They have to be incorporated into the theme and style.

I'm sorry I don't have the time to help. My suggestion.... since the map was built in Illustrator, to scrap the textures and work with the vector style. I think it would look better for a map this busy.

Anyway guys - keep it up. I enjoy watching the progression.
