I added the rules for the knockout stage to the first post. As of now, I think I will make the rules according to the remaining teams' home rules, with the majority being used.
Also, I will start the 5th round of games soon.

It seems like, at least for the first knockout round, that the lower-seeded team (since it's all #1 in group X vs. #2 in group Y) should have to play on the higher seeds home map/settings, so that there's a bit more of an advantage to winning one's pool rather than just a theoretically favorable matchup.
Just my .02
(oh, and you forgot to add the jamaica defeats norway thing to the standings

I was considering that, but what about the second round and so on? We can't base it on the group stage performances, because they weren't playing against the same opponents.Incandenza wrote:It seems like, at least for the first knockout round, that the lower-seeded team (since it's all #1 in group X vs. #2 in group Y) should have to play on the higher seeds home map/settings, so that there's a bit more of an advantage to winning one's pool rather than just a theoretically favorable matchup.GreecePwns wrote:I added the rules for the knockout stage to the first post. I have made the fifth round of games. Instead of sending pms, I have posted the password in the first post next to group stage game 5 schedule.

The first round of the knockout stage takes place on the #1 team's home field. All subsequent rounds would be played on, say, classic unlimited, with cards being determined by the majority stated preference (i.e. home field preference) of the remaining teams.
A bit complicated, but it seems fair.

Not complicated at all. I'll use this format.

Samoa defeated St. K & N
St. K & N was accidently given our victory. We should have 6 points and they have 9. Game #321127. 10 rounds, 2 goals.

Are you supposed to play me? I didn't have a PM yet, so I'm not sure which game I have to enter (I have signed up as replacement last week here).
He is on your team, but your game ended in a forfeit.
