I challenged Tim Woodbury, created my two games, posted it here, sent him a PM and walled him. He did not accept my invites nor did he respond. Now someone else has signed up for the game to which I invited him. Guess I should have password protected it.

We all get caught every once in awhile when we forget to add the PW

just copy paste the second player as player 2 then he/she/it will be invited no need to PW
but i managed the same now im being reamed by noobs instead of Josko;)

Yep...it happens...recreate the games with passwords...he has seven days from the initial invite (June 24) to accept or else you win by forfeit.

I would think not ... dibs is like being next in line to be ABLE to make the challenge, but I would not consider it being made until the contract is written and all the I's are dotted and t's crossed. Which can only be done if we have a victor before June 30 @ 23h59

I would consider DIBS to be start of the challenge already. Every time someone calls DIBS he has challenge shortly afterwards.

I would think Challenges start when games are created

I read everyone's comments and I'm going to allow the DIBS to take place...Here's why:

1. For me, personally, I would think of DIBS being the next challenger in a video game wanting for his chance to take on the champ...my quarters are ready and my adrenaline is pumping, looking for that one shot to take out the #1 guy.

2. I've seen matches with josko.ri be over in one day and some take a week...Knowing the game play of josko and Lord Arioch, i can see this match being over within two to three days.

3. With the amount of time the Ladder Reset is going to take, plus the new "upgrades" to the Ladder coming, LA may not get another shot at #1 spot........ever.

4. I'm invoking Rule #25 as well...

In my World DIBS (which i still dont really get the meaning of in English) means tjing or paxa in Swedish and would be outside the normal rules.... but i would have been happy either way ... i mean now i have to meet JOSKO .... he track record is a bit intimidating

This match is NOT valid. The Ladder was locked on July 1, with the exception being made for Lord Arioch's DIBS which was posted before July 1.
