And yes, it rocks, though I haven't played it much. My flatmate bought it when it came out. I played for a bit, then realised I didn't need another WoW to consume my social life

We have a winner! Yes, the game is The Temple of Elemental Evil - A Classic Greyhawk Adventure, and I wouldn't say it's quite as timeconsuming as WoW, maybe if you want to play it with every possible party alignment once... but lawful is boring anyway.

Hmm, you wouldn't think it's as time consuming as WoW, unless you play it like I do. I tend to choose evil characters, usually fighters that dual class to thieves, so I can backstab with a two-handed sword. Then I buff up my party and start a murdering spree in town. It takes longer than you think eh ;)

Gimme a few moments, I'll have the next screenie

e_i_p_i my opinion of you has increased ten fold...i have never even begun to think of that type of evilness being unleashed on an ususpecting WOW town. Impressive in a Dark disturbing I really don't want to think about it too much way.... :-s :?

Huh? No, I was talking about the way I play DnD games. As far as WoW goes, I enjoyed Tarren Mill / Hillsbrad raids the most I think. They were absolutely pointless in the scheme of things, but always attracted 20-40 people aside. Much better than the PvP arenas.

When my clan got big enough on whatever server we played on (can't remember the name) we started wiping out Astranaar regularly. That was fun, though the mobs respawned too quickly to make a decent dent on Alliance there.

Lol @ Salubri, I was tossing up between posting this and Ultima VIII.

Lords of the Realm 2. I never played LotR 1, and these graphics are familiar, so I'm guessing it's 2. While we're on the topic, anyone played LotR3?

The weird real-time format put me off a bit so I didn't quite try the third.

Anyway, you are Righto.

The complete lack of menus, mini maps and the like makes this somewhat difficult, but it looks WW2-ish so... Blitzkrieg 2?

Not sure what it is, but it looks like an in-game cinematic, hence the no menus etc

Nope and nope!

That there's from the opening cinematic. I'll give it another day and then put up a gameplay picture.
