Maybe he dont want, but clear is visible that he must take because numbers can not stay in boxes, and you are MOD and you must tell these to hem. Or you just pretend to not see these?

well all he has to do is make the boxes bigger. There's plenty of space for that.

Well, its better to take 30px extra, and then to increase Circle and Bonus boxes.
Gimil, you work is very strange in last time, you see that Numbers can not stay in circles, but insted to say "yes you right" you say oposite, and why is that?
Do we have new police here in map foundy, its now is not importan that numbers must be in Circle, not out circle?

There will never be a loyalty box with 3 digits anyways because there is no advantage to having more than one army per box.

I think he's talking about how your double digit army counts don't exactly fit in those boxes, but I don't see this as a big deal at all.

I think there are some maps with their 'circles' being quite small and having the army counts barely fit in them. I'm fine with it. I'm not sure anyone other than qwert has an issue with it?

Your numbers dont need to be inside the cirlces completly, as long as there centered to the circles that are present and that the community is satisfied with how they look.

and the map size discussion bleeds into yet another thread!

I can live with the current gameplay... this is another one of the maps where we may just have to see how it plays when it goes live.

What I would like to something that further distinguishes the city army circles from the region army circles, other than just the color. Shape? Different outline?

Other than that let's get it moving along.

Those dark patcches on the map are to dark and could cause someone, somewhere to misread some things. Would you reduce the darkness please?

Also any paticular reason for the size of the army circles?

Well, i think there is already signifigant distinction. If you notice, cities and regions can be distinguished by;
1.The color of their circle ring. Regions are grey, cities are red.
2.The color of their labeling text. Regions are grey, cities are red.
3.The capitilization of their labeling text. Regions are all caps, cities are not.
4.Cities are all connected by roads, regions are not.

I like the current darkness and it is all very legible to my monitor which is finely calibrated, I suggest adjusting your brightness and contrast if you have trouble reading areas. As for the army circles, I tried to keep them uniform while being able to fit in small spaces.

I like the map, the art and the gameplay ... looks like you did some good research here.

looks interesting. I agree with oaktown though. it seems to be another that you just have to play a few times to get it.

pm me please if i have this wrong. you need to control the city on the map and any flag in the top right hand chart of cities (for said city of course) to gain the city bonus?

also. i don't think the darkness will be much of an issue. looks ok to me.

I'm starting to see a trend...I don't see much more that I'd add to this map. Few minor tweaks, but nothing to major it seems. :)

In light of Coleman's disappearance I am recruiting some one else to tackle the complex and tricky XML of this map so that it may move. If you think you have what it takes to tango with my machinations then please tell me below.

              Final Forge

---The Battle for Iraq! Map has reached the ‘Final Forge’ Stage. I've revived this thread from the pits of the Foundry Furnace (okay, maybe not) and have examined the contents. Nearly every major concern has been addressed. If there are any other current concerns, please make your voice heard. If after a reasonable amount of time there has not been any objection or protest, the map will be deemed finished with the 'Foundry Brand' of approval and will be submitted for live play. As long as there is still discussion or posts that have yet to be commented on, the map will remain in Final Forge until said discussion has reached the conclusion that the map has reached its final and polished version.

Post questions and concerns if any.
