Supreme Court of the United States wrote:The individual citizen has no federal constitutional right to vote for electors for the President of the United States unless and until the state legislature chooses a statewide election as the means to implement its power to appoint members of the Electoral College. U.S. Const., Art. II, §1. This is the source for the statement in McPherson v. Blacker, 146 U.S. 1, 35 (1892), that the State legislature’s power to select the manner for appointing electors is plenary; it may, if it so chooses, select the electors itself, which indeed was the manner used by State legislatures in several States for many years after the Framing of our Constitution. Id., at 28—33.

The State, of course, after granting the franchise in the special context of Article II, can take back the power to appoint electors. See id., at 35 (“[T]here is no doubt of the right of the legislature to resume the power at any time, for it can neither be taken away nor abdicated”) (quoting S. Rep. No. 395, 43d Cong., 1st Sess.).

You live in a fantasy world.

No State Legislature is going to take back this right from its’ population.
It’s a guaranteed way to lose your job... and they aren’t going to throw away their careers to help Trump.

I also doubt the legality of taking this action retroactively.

I don’t believe they’d do it for future elections... but there’s zero chance of them doing it retroactively.

Perhaps if all these legislators were clones of Trump and didn’t give a flying f**k about societal norms... knowing that violating the norms risks the future of our country and destroys trust... perhaps then. Thank god psychos like Trump are 1-in-a-million.

Two hours before the start of today's MAGA March in DC, the president drove out to inspect the thousands of his supporters who had already congregated pledging to defend his second term. Nearly 100 other protests are scheduled across the country today!

We will meet the Biden-Harris campaign's outstretched hands, pleading for unity ... and we will cut them off.

Fixed, yes.

Donald Trump is the democratically elected president of the United States until January 20, 2025.

The Democrats haven't been this worked up to keep someone out of the White House since 1860.

And we all know how that turned out.

Lies and the Lying Liars who Tell Them

The ship has sailed Saxi.

#1 Biden won.

#2 According to Trump and his supporters we have to wait until all the lawsuits play out to ‘know’ who the winner is.
So why are you violating the ‘party line’ and claiming he won now?

Ok, perhaps it is the wrong word. What is the legal term for when you lie on a document?

If you lie by mail it’s mail-fraud or postal fraud.

I don’t get the joke/point?

Point?

Joe Biden has more votes than Trump.
It’s close but the current standing will likely remain.

Even if by some ‘miracle’ the vote recount were to determine a different result in Arizona it wouldn’t overturn the election.

Trump needs like 3 or more States to flip. It ain’t happening.

62 affidavits, sworn and notarized under penalty of perjury, by official observers documenting ballot rigging and other misdeeds they witnessed in Michigan; a chilling read for those who care about democracy - a jubilant chronicle for those who care only about empowering elderly Joe Biden like jimboston -

I'm hoping Sinclair Broadcasting buys CNN. The Sinclair family are big Trump supporters. I can see a Sinclair-owned CNN producing wall-to-wall coverage of Biden scandals (real or imagined) from now until the midterms, in the same way CNN did with Trump.

speaking as a right-wing douchebag myself, I agree

In any case, the President continues to do his part in laying the groundwork for the resistance by installing more beartraps to sabotage and subvert Biden -
McEntee is not just firing people. The Pentagon general counsel this week hired former Republican operative and political appointee Michael Ellis as general counsel of the National Security Agency, making him a civilian member of the senior executive service. That gives Ellis civil service protections that will make it hard for Biden’s team to push him out. Several officials said McEntee also wants to help campaign allies secure jobs in the White House.

Some officials said they worry the new hires could destroy briefing documents prepared for the incoming Biden administration. Others criticized McEntee’s choices for key government roles.

The post-election firings are the culmination of a months-long crusade by McEntee, who reports directly to the president and sits just outside the Oval Office.
Since the election, the pace of removals seems to have accelerated. Some of the removals appear to create opportunities for policy gains in the waning days of the Trump administration.

Did you read any of these?

I just read 10 random affidavits.

None were actual witnesses of voter fraud.

A couple, if true, seem like they are worth probing more deeply... like where one says poll workers entered birthdates of 1/1/1900. I’m presuming this is a placeholder way of entering the ballot provisionally... and by using the same date they can easily sort these provisional or questionable ballots out.

Most complaints were related to how these observers were ‘treated’. I’m sorry but if you are asked to pull your mask over your nose... that’s NOT voter fraud. Sorry.

Fortunately for us all, if China did buy CNN, the US Government would immediately seize all of the assets.

So then the government would own CNN...
