On Nark's slip up I'm sort of torn. On one hand it could be absolutely nothing. It's easy to mess up words. But on the other hand it's very easy to confuse what your mind is saying and what you want to type. the one thing that strikes out ot me is that "we are too easily slipping under the radar" doesn't make sense. Espeically since Nark isn't exactly slipping under the radar.

I can see I've picked up a few votes, but for anyone else watching, I think Mandy's story clue here is important.
Those kid trainers are almost 100% certain to be 'town' trainers. As for Team Rocket, while yes, it's likely they'll be here, it's by no means guaranteed. Giovanni I would say is likely sitting in the 'godfather' role, but he was never really a 'trainer' per se. More like a businessman who constantly got he lackies doing his work for him.
Giovanni most definetly is a trainer. In both the anime and in the games he was a gym leader. A strong one too. Yes he had lackies to do his work for him but he certainly was a trainer too.

In a nutshell, I don't believe those are good enough odds to target what you believe is a trainer. You're more likely to hit town.
So your assumption is then that the majority of the pokemon are then town aligned? And I'm sorry, lost again so hopefully someone can fill in. But, why wouldn't team rocket be considered kid trainers? I thought in the game they were the same age as Ash and the rest?
Not exactly, I believe even in the game they are older than the main character, although to be fair outside of the anime I don't think their ages are said.

Professor Oak: Well, I don't know about 'favorite'...
Reporter:
Sounds to me like Gary Oak is in this game, and if you had read the Day 1 story arc, you'd know this.
This. Although I will note memory can be a fickle thing.

Well, I thought it was a pretty awesome catch... I also stuck to it, and was lambasted for it. So, I backed off. Trump, I mean WingCommander and, IIRC, Fircoal, were the ones who thought I had no idea what I was talking about and that I should give him the benefit of the doubt.
And whilst we are at it. Someone found you might have made a typo or a scumslip and you decide to write a four liner in defence? Why did it hit too close to the truth?
This line you are menioning... Yeah, this happened BEFORE the typo... Are you actually reading these posts in chronological order? It doesn't seem as if you are...
So far, you yourself have offered NOTHING... All you have done is attack and criticize EVERY other player. Where are your points about possible game setups, mechanics, general mafia craziness? I caught Maskets question and other people seem to agree, so, at the very least, I have contributed. All you have done is complained and made snide comments...
If you really are town, you should rethink your position.
@madmitch... Your constant argument is you "don't know much about pokemon." Well I literally know nothing... I am way out of the age group that Pokemon was ever focused on, and so are a few other gamers here... Quit using it as an excuse. It has NO bearing on how people are playing. What it does do, however, is make you look like you are looking for an out about contributing... And that is scummy.
I agree with what Nark said. You don't have to know about Pokemon to play this game. Trust me, I know Pokemon better than anyone in this game (maybe not the first gen but in general yes), (also not the 7th gen because I'm still not done with that game. I am slow at these things. x3), it doesn't exactly help me know who is scum and who isn't. Furthermore we can't answer what Mandy put in the game because we don't know. We're not him. People need to stop using their lack of experience in the subject matter as a reason to not participate in trying to find scum. It's incredible scummy and inadvicable if you're town.
Speaking of Nark I would like to add this, yes he's say things that have seemed odd or off, but at the same time he hasn't been afraid to stick his neck out and he has been posting a lot. In general posting a lot is good for town more than scum. While scum does want to push lynches they like they also don't want to attract attention. Nark has attracted attention, while it's possible it was just an unintentional effect I do tend to like to keep active players alive. It's good for town.
madmitch wrote:a short post
This is unacceptable. When we're looking for posts we're not looking for posts just for the sake of getting posts. This isn't one of my mafia games. We're looking for content, something that you've not been giving. Every post of yours is a bunch of nothing tied up in a bow of mystery. Yes, you have posted here but what here has been useful. When have you tried to find out who is bad? Looking through your post history there isn't anything there that's helped town. In fact. LET'S LOOK THROUGH IT!

Bandwagoning without any added logic, just shameless piling on.
madmitch wrote:As to my vote,Narks point made sense to me at that time , I will change it if I need to , but for now I like it where it is at. I t gets harder and harder to pick out scum because of all the reposting and Skoffin writing all his posts in red don't make it any easier on the eyes, what's up with that ? the nines were a mistake or were they?

Excuses and a restatement of what he said before. Nothing useful added.
madmitch wrote:@ Serbia ,This is how I usually play , I don't like writing big posts all the time,I rather read and make points to my self then get into it. I liked where my vote was ,but lately I am thinking of changing it , but maybe I won't ,I don't like the unvoting and revoting habit, it makes you look unsure of your self or just a follower.@ Skoffin sorry!!
Statement of saying that he doesn't usuallly help. Nothing of value added besides a defense of how he plays. Well at least it's something.
madmitch wrote:Okay guys and gals the only thing I know about Pokemon is what I see on netflicks, I have been reading about them in wiki and am starting to make some sense of it all. So what I got so far from all the posts that we are in Indigo league which is Gen. 1 and the bad guys are Team Rocket , am I correct ? If so why would anyone bring up team rocket when we all know they are scum? was it a slip or are they as mentioned before looking for town cred? H ow many teams are there? As someone else asked are the trainers fighting against other trainers? How many trainers are there? and are there pokemons without trainers? These questions must be answered before we get a good sense who to go after. Can someone answer any of these questions?
ACtually these questions don't need to be answered before we know who to go after. Certainly they may help but it doesn't stop that we need to find the scum and remove them. Knowing what variation of scum doesn't help with knowing we have to be rid of them. This question sounds like a stall question.
It's a bunch of questions but no actual answers. Many of these questions having to do with stuff already covered and answered. No answers of suggests given, thusly doesn't actually say much.
madmitch wrote:come on guys , can't you take a joke? my post was per Mandys request that is all. My other post has some good points since I know very little about pokemon, I T WAS RELATED MORE TO THE SHOW THEN TO THIS GAME but I thought it might tie in. already told you Iwas not much on posting and Wcg post is very well formed and hard to follow.
No. No it doesn't. As Nark said that doesn't mean that you can't post and do all of that. You can still try to figure out who scum is and yet YOU HAVEN'T DONE THAT. Your contributions are jumping onto bandwagons and stalling in place.
You have 7 posts and very little content between all of those posts. This is the defintion of someone trying to look active without actually adding anything to the discussion. And who does that? That's right scum. At least Dakky and Tim's posts while misguided are trying to get at something but these posts? They go nowhere. He's never pointed his fingers at anyone besides targets that were already picked out for him. He's not putting his neck out on the line at all, and all of this I find very scummy.
