given that we are beating myth 5-1 and 4-0 we are certain to get at least 3 points, that makes 29 points total for us minimum, OSA can get to 27 points maximum if they win their 3 rounds left... Can we make it official?

Official, no. But congratulations!

in pro sports, once it's mathematically won they make it official though.... like if you have a playoff series in the best of 7 and a team is winning 4-2, you don't need to play the 7th match to declare them winners..

or in football, once you have the points that make you uncatchable by the second, you are declared champion and handled the trophy even if there are 6 games left. I just can't see why math can't make this official

anyways, small question: for the mvp you count in the qualifying phase right?

Yup, the football & playoff examples don't really apply, because they still wait for the games to finish before declaring the win. We're waiting for the sets to finish and the points to be pencilled in before we can declare the same.

Yup, the football & playoff examples don't really apply, because they still wait for the games to finish before declaring the win. We're waiting for the sets to finish and the points to be pencilled in before we can declare the same.

Well there isn t really any good example in sports, if you pick tennis, it s the first one to 6 but you might need a tie break. Here, once you reach 4 wins you are 100% guaranteed to tie in the worse case scenario, and 5 you are 100% guaranteed to win. Once you reach 4 or 5 there is absolutely no chance to see the points fly away.

I did this for myself, so I thought I might as well share it. Nothing official though, I have not double checked any of it.

Notes:

We have 2 matches still undecided and 7 games still ongoing.
Under "Matches" are all the decided matches.
Any clan that reached 4 game wins before the other clan in a match has that registered as a draw (MD).
Under "Games" are all the finished games.
APP = Additional Possible Points.
MPP = Maximum Possible Points.
GO = Games (still) Ongoing.
Under "NOTE":
- s = Maximum final score reached.
- x = Final position secured.
- ^ = Possibility of moving up a position.
- blank = None of the above + Possibility of moving down a position.

It's clear that LHDD has won this division and the first 5 places are secured. However, there is still a clan fighting for their position, so I will officially announce the winner and the final ranking once all positions are 100% certain.
