I couldn't understand that move by the Rangers. Young begins his career in Texas and spends 12 years there. You would think they would want him to retire there.

The Tigers have owned the Indians this year. Going into today's game, Detroit has won 7 straight, and is 15-3 on the year. That's the biggest reason the Tigers are up by 8.5 in the Central right now.

Eight games to go and Cleveland is in control with Kansas city 3 games back.

Felix faces one batter with bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth, gives up a four pitch walk and gives the Rangers yet another 1 Run loss.

I went with a bunch of my cousins to the White Sox vs. Tigers game last night in Detroit. Rode to the stadium with my sister and brother in law. Top of the ninth, after Chicago scored three more times to make it 6-0, bro-in-law asks if I want to leave now. I say hell no, I paid for these tickets damn it, I want to see the end of this miserable carnage. Tons of other people left though.

Bottom of the ninth, Tigers score 6 runs of their own to tie it. Because of all the empty seats, we get to move down closer to watch the extra innings. Detroit would win it in the 12th, completing their biggest 9th inning comeback in 66 years. And that is why I never leave a sporting event until it's over.
