It is not the font. It may be a tad small but it is readable and clear.

This is by far not the problem. It is in no way pixelated. And if you blow anything up 400%, it is always pixelated.

My bad if it's been suggested before.
The screens are identical in every way. The font is the same as well. The bevel and fonts are also identical from large to small. The difference you are seeing is an optical illusion because of the size. The difference in font for the playing area over the legend is my choice. The playing area would not have a text in it so any text would be out of place so one that is ultimate in clarity was used for the ease of players. The one in the legend is there for style. A lot of the effects for the legend font have been taken away for clarity but a balance between style and clarity I believe has been found.
