No it doesn't seeing as he didn't replace in this game (where info had been skewed) but did it in the Am Revolution game where his first role didn't know anything that wasn't public already...

OK, I'm pretty lost. Sorry.

I'm not saying it's for certain, but I wouldn't be surprised if we have a ton of doctors in this game.

So then, why make them doctors? Why not just have a ton of survivors? The whole idea seems somewhat silly to me.

To balance against the amount of kills. It would make sense, but I doubt we would have as many kills as we had.

That's what I was saying earlier. Fifth pointed out how not many would use their powers anyway, so I was questioning the purpose of even having doctors.

Oh yes, of course. Sorry, I'm tired #-o

Anyway, further on in the game, it would make sense to help out one faction as much as possible, since apparently they're also survivors (according to haoala anyway, did ani say something about that?).

Correct. Just because factionless docs won't protect night 1 doesn't mean they won't protect when they get more info.

ok well it seems everyone is too scared to post incase they draw attention to themselves and nd up one of the many dead, however i think this is probably going to sound stupid, this game MUST have lots of doctors, probably roughly in proportion to killers or the game could go on for about 3 days and finish, there for a thrid party doctor is a safe fake claim so we have to very carefull when people claim one.

Woohoo! (bitch.)

I am afraid I have absolutely no knowledge of the dawn of war theme, nor the inclination to learn when simple normal mafia techniques could be carried out. But with 10 deaths... I'm lost. People are saying "oh we'll have docs" but do we not also have cops (or other info roles) with anything worth revealing?

Lurky, lurky... ;)

I agree, fairly lost myself here between little knowledge of the theme and the random chaos that's been going on all game.

I don't normally buy into this but there's still a person or two that have not posted at all this game, we could always lynch some random inactive since the night is slowly approaching? Unless someone has something better? Please throw it out there... But we really shouldn't let this day go by with a no lynch, we need to at least get some info going into the night phase.

Jnd was a tracker but we may have a cop or extra trackers or even maybe a watcher

Besides, who puts in only 1 investigative role in a 30+ people game?

I think people who have speculated on the setups of factions in detail, in particular most likely belong to factions.

i say lynch an inactive as they are giving nothing to the game and are more likely a faction than not.

O hai guyz!

I've missed a bit, so I read the last day and am replying to previous comments now :P So please hold your "that's been discussed already!"

First, the stroop bandwagon was pretty silly. Sure, he could be a killing role, but the basis of the lynch seemed to be as if Stroop concocted some master mind trap. Well, who WOULDN'T kill Jnd? He claimed a investigative role, roles 'bad guys' want to knock out as soon as possible before they peg you the following day. A role which had a high chance of being protected at night too. So, if I had a day killing ability and were a 'bad dude' you bet your arse I'd use it on him. I think it's far more likely Jnd's real killer was amoungst those voting Stroop.
But still, Stroop could be a killer. However, since this is a game filled with such roles, I find it's more appropriate to go after those who you feel are a threat to you. I don't feel he is a threat to me.

As for Ani, he has this way of always appearing as scum. Whether a doc or not, I also will not vote him simple because I do not see him as a threat to me. (Because even if he were a killer, I highly doubt I'd be in his top picks for kills :P )

I had something else to say... but... it escapes me. I'll think and repost later. I'll probably throw in a vote for Kalish too, for he scares the bajabers out of me.

The problem I see is that no one, whether they be faction or not, wants to accuse anyone because then the lynched person's mafia will get revenge.

I don't care about that because I figure there's at least one doc out there who will protect me if I step up and go after someone. Anyway, Stroop has already claimed Tau. Tau have only lost one member so far and thus are one of the more powerful factions remaining. I think for the greater majority of us (read: not Tau), he would be a safe lynch. If we lynch him and whoever his teammates are get killed tonight: that's one less NK to worry about every night.

Unvote Vote Stroop

P.S.

To quote a phrase from a distinctly ugly and backwards culture: "less QQ, more pew pew." The phrase translated into our dialect means, stop complaining (about a lack of activity) and do shit (like contributing instead of complaining that no one posts).

That term is taken from World of Warcraft community.

Ha! You've just reminded me of part of what I forgot!
About this faction business. People have said "it doesn't matter who we lynch, as long as they are not on your side" which I find to be very untrue. For example, what if factions have certain people who can only do certain things? Say a faction only has one person capable of killing and that person dies, that team will have to rely on other factions killing and reducing the numbers for them. Weaking one group could inadvertantly make another group more powerful, so in that respect 'lynching anyone' is just not that simple.

Annnnyway, I'm not sure of the numbers of the groups, and I'm not going to just take your word for it either :P So when I'll have time later I'll made a somewhat-informed choice then.

He said he was a goon. Goon as in member of a mafia. Members of a mafia always have a kill as long as one of them remains.

If that's how we're gonna play it, the ideal lynch is tau, eldar, or ork. Stroop happens to be a tau, which is a fine lynch in my books.

So, a killing member of a strong party, eh? Vote stroop.

I still don't believe that he killed jnd, though. I'm voting him because he claimed tau. If he's telling the truth, one less tau to worry about. If not, lynch all liars.

I want to make sure you have your facts straight 5th before I vote for him.

I don't see any people claiming scum unless they are jesters.

Well, if he *is* a jester, then we lose nothing by lynching him, really. If he's scum attempting a double bluff, we win by luynching him. Either way, your defence appears somewhat scummy.

That said, I would like to see the quote where he claimed goon.

It escapes me at the moment but I'm pretty sure he did claim Tau something, just don't recall if it was goon or not nor can I find the f*ckin post to save my life...
