They said the same about Montenegro...
Well Montenegro have Independent history, and you have wrong numbers,i think 30% is Serbian people in Montenegro, but when you look that Montenegro is small country(600000)and only 470000 have right to vote(over 18 years)and Montenegro not alove to hes citizens in serbia to vote(250000 Montenegros live in Serbia),And you can figure how they get independent

KOSOVO IS SERBIA!
There will never be state of Kosovo! Kosovo is Serbian area and base of Serbia for more than 1200 years.
USA helped muslims in Kosovo,so that they will in return be able to build army bases in Kosovo and Metohija, closer to Russia.
International law doesn't allow this, but when there's US there's no international law
USA supported Kosovo's independence,so we've burned down their embassy today. And this was just peaceful protest!
When Russia and China recognise Kosovo's independence, you feel free to put it on a map

but the border of N.Ireland and R of Ireland is wrong. Hate to be a pain in the ass with a possibly minor point that doesn't effect game play but I know that it'll always stand out to me when I play this map and will take away some what from it. If you look at the Ireland map currently open for play. Look at Ulster, take away Donegal, and you have N.Ireland. Simple.

On Vacation
Due to work commitments, I will be away from home for 4 out of the next 6 weeks, and have decided to put the development of this map on hold. 22nd Feb 2008

To do when I return (amongst other things):
-Evaluate the impact of the Kosovon Declaration of Independence
-Consider the results of the territory grouping poll, and other well-informed opinions posted here
-Amend the Ireland/N Ireland border
Sorry

I apologize if I sounded angry last night(I just came from demonstrations).
And I was little pi**ed off by CNN's broadcast. They just showed 200 hooligans throwing rocks on US embassy, and they didn't show oder 500.000 people praying in front of temple, for peace and God' justice.
I would really love that this situation ends peacefully.
Sorry,I've chosed wrong place for my emotions.
But,I still say that Kosovo is not recognised, because it's not justice by International law, niether by God's laws.
Peace

Serb Republic and Muslim-Croatian Federation also not Country.
If we start to demand to Mrbenn put all terittories who not recognise by UN,then these map must get another 10-15 terittories.

I've got another course coming up after Easter, so am leaving the map on vacation until early April - so don't expect anything until for another couple of weeks...
It's nice to see you keeping an eye out for it though!

Back in DevelopmentAfter a month or so of being away from home on a couple of courses (during which time my brain has been deep-fried!), I am now back in the Foundry, and am picking up from where I left off with this Europe map.
I don't think I'll have an update for a little while, as the time away has made me look at this development with fresh eyes; and I have a moderately substantial 'to do' list in front of me - the main points I'll list here
-I want to redraw the territory borders, as I want them to look fresh and crisp. At the moment I think they look a bit jaggedy and distorted (as well as inaccurate in 1 or 2 places like N Ireland).... I think this will be a major major task, as my couple of attempts at redoing the border have taken ages, and not been overly successful... Any suggestions on how to do this quickly, easily and efficiently would be warmly received.
- Some areas of the map (primarily The Balkans) are very very squashed, making some areas difficult to see clearly on the large map, let alone the small one. Tied in with this will be the addition of Kosovo. I know that this is a sensitive issue for some CC'ers, although I imagine that a little of the heat has cooled off from this debate, and recent news indicates (to me, at any rate) that Kosovon Independance is now generally recognised.
- I need to be decisive about continent groupings and gameplay options. By this, I mean that I need to tie down exactly how I intend the map to work; at the moment I've got ideas about World 2 sub-continents floating around, along with various thoughts about 'capitals' and other micro-bonuses... and this ties in to a decision about geographical/political/whatever boundaries/groupings. I'm broadly happy with what I've got at the moment, but the outcome of this thought process will help define the areas of my work which I know need work.
- Once the territory/continent groupings and gameplay has been ironed out, there is the small issue of sorting out the legend and continent bonuses
These are the main points on my list; once these have been sorted (ha ha), then it will be pretty much ready to go (ha ha again!)

Where you read that Kosovo is generaly recognised? Only 36 country recognise Kosovo, and still UN not recognise Kosovo(of 192 country who are full members of UN only 36 recognise Kosovo),like i say before you can not put some country who not recognise from majority of UN. Maybe he will be after 20-30 years,or maybe he will be like Taivan or North Cuprys, but for now hes a Part of Serbia by UN resolution 1244.

Regarding Kosovo, I came across
this link a few weeks ago, and it may help decide one way or the other, regarding inclusion/exclusion.

Kosovo should be considered an independent country only when it is deemed as such by the UN. In other words never because Russia will always veto its independence.

How do you just "come across" a link like that?

Kosova has been formally recognized by 20 out of 28 "full democracy" countries.

Do you ever heard meaning of word propaganda?
These is proAlbanian site, and fact is that Kosovo for now its not recognise by UN and Mrbeen must present in hes map like part of Serbia, ofcourse if in future something change, then he can change these thing in map to.
Do you thinking that Tajvan is independent country?
These site is very interesting, first they dont have part with country who will not recognise Kosovo independent,

I think - as this is a map of Europe - and the fact that *most* of the EU countries have recognised it as an independant country... then I would go with it as an Independant country.
