Alright, the final season standings are now up. A couple of games are in the "last stages" but the outcome is pretty much determined, so I went ahead and applied them to the standings.
I have also loaded up the playoff schedule with the wild card game numbers included. I will be sending out PMs to the home teams right now, and to the visiting teams as soon as the home team has entered.

The Wild Card games are almost all full, so be ready for some results in the next few days.

All but one team is in their Wild Card games. That team should be in shortly. Let me know when a playoff game finishes so I can get the next one started more quickly.

All the Wild Card games are now active.

Aleksei wrote:Quick Question. How is the Super Bowl going to work? In the NFL its at a neutral site. Are you going to do that here or just give it to the best record team in the finals? Or assign them some other teams settings (like Arizona's since that is where the Super Bowl is this year)?
Just curious, won't affect my entry in the Tournament. I am excited!
this was a good question.. and this thread is way too long to read the whole thing looking for an answer.. so i'll just bump it now and apologize if its already been answered

Wow, I guess I missed that one whenever it was asked. My plan is to pick a random site that is not the home field of either team that makes it. If Arizona doesn't make it, I will likely just take whatever their home settings were for the sake of it being the same as where the real superbowl is being played.
If Arizona does make it, I will pick a different map.

The Houston Texans defeated the New England Patriots to advance in the playoffs and earn the right to face the Buffalo Bills. The home team has been sent the game number and the visiting team will be notified as soon as the home team joins.

The Arizona Cardinals have defeated the San Francisco 49ers in the Wild Card round. However, I cannot start their next game until I know who wins the Dallas - Washington game due to seeding.
As soon as I have that result, the next games will start.
New playoff bracket will be posted later today.

The new results for the playoffs bracket have just been uploaded. Also, some things have come up in real life, so I need to take a short 3 day break from tournament updates and the sort.
Now that the player most concerned with finishing super fast has been eliminated I feel I can take that break without much harm. I ask all of you to just be patient for a couple days. I'll be back on Saturday, February 2nd.

The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Cleveland Browns in the wild card game and so they have advanced on to face the Denver Broncos. I have sent the game to Denver, and will send it to Baltimore as soon as they have joined.
The playoff bracket has been updated, and the Dallas—Washington game looks like it should end within the next couple of days.

The Houston Texans have advanced to the AFC Championship Game and it looks like they will get a bit of a break while waiting for the others to catch up to them.
The NFC Wild Card game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins is still going on, so no news on the NFC side of things.

Playoff bracket is now updated. The Atlanta Falcons have advanced to the NFC Championship game and the Denver Broncos have advanced to face the Houston Texans in the AFC Championship.
I have sent Denver the game number and password and will send it to Houston soon.
Atlanta needs to wait for the result of the other divisional game first.

Detroit has been sent the NFC Championship Game, and as soon as they join, Atlanta will be on its way in as well.
Also, Houston has been notified of the AFC Championship Game, so that one should be active soon as well.

Looks like we are almost finished!
The Houston Texans have just advanced to the Super Bowl and await the NFC Champion (Detroit or Atlanta) to battle for the championship. I have created the Super Bowl game for Houston and will have whoever wins the NFC Championship join right away when the time comes.
Thanks to all of you who have participated, it was a blast.

We will be using the home settings for the Arizona Cardinals since that is where the Super Bowl was played this season.
