STATOIL has made a massive push in the last week, but I don't think they can catch up to PETRONAS. Shell also make a huge jump in points this week.

Congratulations to Team PETRONAS on their win of the first ever Gasoline Crusades Tournament.

Players for the winning team are: Hknox67, wolfmaster, merz, NormalGuy, taxmanjle and Spawn of Devil.

They played a great tournament and came out victorious!!! STATOIL made a hard run in the last two weeks, but did not quite catch them, they did cut the gap in half though, which is quite impressive.

I want to say thank you to all the players who participated. We actually have one doubles game and one standard game still active, but they do not involve teams that can catch up to the winners.

I will be posting the FINALIZED standings and SCORING BREAKDOWNS as soon as those games are complete. There still may be a little shuffling from 3rd place on down.

Congratulations to the Petronas mob and a big thank you to Optimus Prime for organising such a well run tournament.

Also a big thanks to the rest of STATOIL. We broke the 200pt barrier & gave them a good run boys

At least we can console ourselves with the knowledge that we're better Doubles players than them

And yes thank you for such a great tournament Optimus and would love for a second Gasoline Crusades as well.

Congrats to the petronas team on their win and i am very happy to get second. Also thankyou to my teamates on the Statiol team especially my teamate Mightor. We played well.

And thankyou everyone for participating and making this tournament happen and being so fun.

I will probably plan another Gasoline Crusades style tournament for next summer. It was a pretty big undertaking and I don't think I could handle it during the school year. Well, at least not until Battle for Middle Earth, San Francisco Bay Classic, NFL Doubles and Transformers Wars II are all wrapped up.

I may even tweak the format just slightly to allow for a little more intrigue.

You guys are more than welcome, and I'm glad you all had fun.

if my calculation is correct

The best 3 double team is actually for
Petronas upper division(Merz and HKnox76) for 1stt
Shell upper division(foraz az and dcc1220) for 2nd
BP upper division(evil semp and mrs semp) for 3rd

best 3 1v1 is
exxonmobil lower division(hardcord) for 1st
petronas upper division(wolfmaster) for 2nd
shell upper division(reptile) for 3rd

best 3 singles is(not counting the games that is still runing as eni upper division(freymen) and bp upper division(Evil Semp) may change the result)
lukoil middle division(DimnjacarStef) for 1st
the below mentions are tie for 2nd 3rd and 4th
petronas upper division(wolfmaster)
Statoil middle division(Winters_Sorrow)
eni lower division(lostatlimbo)

Okay, I've put the standings up and they reflect everything except the final standard game that I have no idea when it will actually finish. Whenever it does, somebody please send me a PM to let me know and I'll factor in those scores.
