By the way kratos, I think that the numbers would be 6-2-1 tomorrow, as a cultist was killed. I don't think the cult recruiter would start with a recruit this game as the numbers are too small. Still very close to LYLO, but not quite so dire. SKer has to win alone after all.
I agree with you the recruiter wouldn't start with a recruitee. I was just lumping all the anti town factions together as one big happy family when I said 6-3 but you're right 6-2-1 does change things to where it's no longer LYLO

It's been more than 24 hours since TFO has posted. At the risk of sounding like bandwagoning, if he doesn't respond by 8'ish tonight (my time) then I will make that 6'th vote.

The discussion had been going on for awhile when someone walked over to a man nervously twitching in the corner. "Hey, why the twitching", he asked. "Im not twitching!", said the man much too loudly. Suddenly more gazes turned to look upon him, and they asked, "What's your name? What do you do?" The man responded,"I'm just a genius with photography as a hobby. I go photograph landscapes or people during the day, and sleep at night." One of the people in the crowd remarked, "Hey don't we have quite a few of those for a town of prodigies?" He found some agreement, and then people started demanding to see his house. He said he needed to get his house keys from his car, and after waiting awhile, the townsfolk just went to his house. Plastered all over the walls were photos of Megan Fox, but hidden at the back of his closet was a funky getup and several boxes of Peggy Dow photos. After further hacking his computer, they found his true identity out.
TheForgivenOne Megan Fox turned Peggy Dow Fanclub President has been lynched!

Blah, I hate sickness. I don't think I was getting my way out of it though.
Also I had no clue how to play a recruiter

The night was peaceful. The fake photographer was gone, through sickness, absence or otherwise. Gone, gone for good. The night hung on edge, waiting for something to happen. But not all was tense that night. A knock on a door, the man opened a crack peering out. "Who is it?" in quiet the gruff tone. A jovial voice replied, "Why don't you open up a bit more so you can see!" When the door opened a bit more the man presented a drink. "I am persuaded he said that just a bit of my special mix will make you much happier! Here I will show you that it isn't poisoned!" Taking a sip he passed it to the man in the house, and they soon became comrades. As the man walked home he tensed, remembering the fate of another the previous night. But no gunshots no dead appeared that night. In fact, when the sun arose they were all still there.
D3 Start!

Well, this screws with what we thought we had left. So, maybe the baddie left can recruit or kill? I've got nothing to go on.

why do you assume that i didn't investigate? the scenes don't mention investigations, so what information do you have, or think you have that would make you say that i didn't investigate,
i in fact did investigate someone last night, who i believe is town, i don't plan on sharing all i find unless it becomes necessary so for now i won't say who it was that i investigated.

OK, last night didn't go like I expected. No killings (mafia or SK), but another recruitment. So that leaves us with several unanswered questions.
1) If there where no killings last night does that mean there is no true mafia in town? Surely a mafia would take the opportunity to kill off a town player, wouldn't they?
2) What happened to the SK, (if there was one)?
3) Since it's apparent that the cult can still recruit, (or perhaps create a new recruiter via potion) then how many cultists are there. Two, More?
4) Who killed Anarkistsdream?
5) Just who did Greg clear as town?
Does anybody have any ideas?

Back from my weekend away, appears i did not miss much except the night scene.
i dont get the scene really, the scene in my opinion suggests that there is another kind of recruiter. but we killed it. 2 recruiters in one game, sounds counter-intuative. or is it possible that rishead changed a role because we got the recruiter that fast and town is now in a too strong position? i mean with a cop and a doc and only a serial killer it sounds like a sure thing if there would only have been a serial killer left. But being relativly new to this and never modded a game i think its not - done but some more experienced player might know more.
or is it maybe possible that it is a 1 shot option, i think that might be the most logic explanation?
@ benga, that kind of was a strange comment.

melkor posted when i wrote last message so sorry for double posting:
got the same questions, it is guessing but here is what i at this point think.
@1: there still is some evil team but not sure if it is a traditional mafia, dont really get what form it is. there ofcourse is also a possibility that a doc saved the target but i think there would be reference to that in the scene, so i think its not likely.
@2: as i just posted, maybe a one-shot ability ? to be honest only next night would tell us more about that.
@3: i still whatever team we are against now has 2 members. and i think that would be the only team left.
@4: the possible SK. who now might have not killed for once.
@5: guess he wants to delay that intel, and guess he did not investigate me. still thinking about the advantages for him of delaying that.

That's my thought about the recruitment as well. We lynched the cult recruiter so fast that rishead allowed the cult to have another recruiter to keep the game lively. But that still doesn't explain the lack of a killing last night. Unless the cultist recruited the SK.
Noobie Question ------------------
If a SK gets recruited and becomes the cults new recruiter can he still kill? And if he just becomes a regular cult member can he still kill?

I highly doubt the mod would change a person's role midgame just because town was going to win too quickly. That would be incredibly unfair to town. What I am curious about is why this recruitment wasn't shown in the first night scene. Is it possible the cult started with two members and this second member took over for the cult. The other potential is a one man mafia with the ability to recruit or kill but that seems more powerful than it should be.
Also, recruits generally lose powers but that is up to the mod.
I'm going to start the day with
vote benga. He has appeared scummy in earlier days and his last question to Greg was rather odd. I'd like to hear what he has to say about it but I'm good with getting the pressure going.

That's what I meant. The cult had 1 leader/follower and 1 recruiter. When we lynched the recruiter the leader/follower was given the power to recruit. Of course they could have both been able to recruit and we only found out about one because of the killing on the first night. But that seems like to much advantage for the cult. Two recruits a night would end the game real quick. (More noobie pondering's) Or is a cult like the mafia. The leader decides who to recruit and sends someone else out to do the deed. Either way, I believe we have two cult members at present. And a big question mark about the SK. But who they are at this moment is a mystery to me.

Well it would be really overpowered if the cult recruiter role got passed on to someone else. However, with greg claimed, it makes no sense not to reveal investigation information. If you don't share, and you end up dead later, we lose that information.

Come on Greg, you know there is no value in holding your investigation back.
I would rather believe that there were 2 cult/mafia teams in this game. Essentially, two players that could recruit/kill on different nights. Each one started with one player, the captain. Cult 1 could recruit on N1, N3, N5, etc, and kill on N2, N4, N6. Cult 2 could recruit on N2, N4, N6 and kill on N1, N3, N5, etc.
So, still one team left, with 2 players. Therefore, if there was a recruit ability, would you try to take out the cop? And if you were the cop that got recruited, would you delay you results, since you may not have gotten any? Come on, Greg...
