What's wrong with a Filipino programmer? Code is code. All that matters is that it works. Are you upset that the person writing your code may not have the same color skin as you?

Yes metsfan, you hit the nail stright on the head, anyone that knows anything would agree that the Philipino, (notice the Ph) is considerably insuperior in terms of programming when compared to other programmers amidst the vast racial spectrum.

Sorry crazy Irish dude, but anyone that knows anything would use the correct term 'Filipino' for a native of The Philippines. Deriving from the Spanish 'Felipe' it is why the letter F is used, although ironically in the alphabet of that country the letter F doesn't exist (and they refer to themselves as Pilipino/Pilipina).

Sorry to deviate from the Apple debate. Back to it lads.

The Ph was intentional hint hint ^sarcasm^ which is why I said notice the Ph to further hint that the original post was sarcasm as it seemed metsfan missed it.

*note this most recent post does not use internet sarcasm due to the high likelihood of it not being picked up by certain individuals*

natty... federal courts passed a law saying that Apply can't prosecute you for jailbreaking an apple device. Old news. Happened like 6 months ago.

All it does to your device is it voids the warranty. it's the risk you take. However, all you have to do to erase all traces of the jailbreak is plug the phone in, and hit "reset device". Done. Clean as a whistle. Warranty is back to normal.

Who's talking about prosecution? I haven't mentioned prosecution anywhere.

Of course they can't prosecute you... what they can do is disable your phone/tablet from working at all the next time you update it. So yeah, good luck with that.

They can't do that either. Jailbreaking is perfectly legal with the only repercussions being a voided warranty.

So the big one is this thread because it brings us all the love for each other? Or is it true that there won´t be anything big coming soon? If anything comes, i hope it´s more interesting than this Conquer Cup.

Do I need to spell it out for you?

I'm saying they are doing that right now. If you jailbreak your phone or ipad and update the os, your phone/ipad will stop working.

THIS THREAD IS NOW ABOUT APPLE PRODUCTS

Wonder when Apple's next big one will come? I bet it'll be an Ipet. Customizable to either bark, purr, chirp, squeak, or make a flicking tongue sound (for you reptile enthusiasts).

Put your shirt on, please. You're embarrassing yourself.

Yes, you can still jailbreak, but you have to do it again every time you update your OS.

Beside that, you might be interested in this new patent Apple is applying for...

Natty, you just changed what you've been saying. First you say your phone will stop working, then you say all you have to do us jailbreak it again... A process that takes less than 5 minutes. So what, you take 5 mins out of your day once every 6 months to re-jailbreak the thing? Big deal.

Yeah, you have to jailbreak the thing again, because otherwise it will stop working. You have to get a new version of the jailbreak software for each os update, because apple is constantly trying to stop the jailbreaks from working.

In other words, apple is trying to prevent users from jailbreaking their "products". They've also filed for a patent for a technology that can remotely disable jailbroken phones. I mean completely disable, and destroy all your personal data.

So my point still stands. You can buy an apple product, but you can't really own one.
