Needless to say weather it is legit or a story--he has made no real effort to take his turns.

He will miss in almost every game and he will deadbeat most of them most likely

If you think it is valid you basically give the next guy who tries this permission to join 2000 games and not play them out.

You have no real understanding of the mental and physical work it takes to play these games out and to say this guys record is valid totally disrespects what AoN and myself did for days on end trying to take everyone of our turns. 16-20 hours a day--turn after turn.

His attempt is pathetic at best and really he should be foed from everyone he screwed over.

When i say,that its valid,i realy mean,that he will come back and start playing, but its look that he are not play any of games.
What realy hepend,for me its hard to say, personaly he get bigest punisment to be a cook, and its in Mods to observe everything and to decide what to do. If someone ask me, i will give hem forum ban for 6 month, so that he can not try again something like these, also to get warning,to not try these again,or he will be ban from CC.
I must say that i realy belive that he will play games, because im also try to participiate in these chalenge(not so big only 5 games) and i even waith 23 hours to take mine turns.
If he have some troubles with mods, in these way,he only get trouble with comunity.
We will see outcome , and what mods says.

Trust me--when he saw the task at hand he decided it was not worth the time--I don't care what he says or what his excuses are at this point. I don't think he planned on doing this originally but I do think he has missed and deadbeat on purpose.

P.S. As no one seems to have noticed; Looks like the mods reached a conclusion. He's been stripped of premium.

Eh? What initial request? You make it sound like I posted something days or weeks ago. I posted a suggestion, not a request, an hour and a half ago after having seen what had happened (well after the fact).

yes this is a request you just posted, but it is for a preemptive solution to the problem (maximizing games created/joined or something like that). Some will attempt and complete playing this many games while others will not, so i think the punishment should be something done after the fact on a case by case basis.

So can we count this as a failed attempt at the record?

As someone stated earlier in the thread, which I thought was rather straight to the point; If we accept this attempt as the new record that's saying than someone can just go create 4500 games tomorrow and deadbeat them all. It's just inviting an escalation of a totally meaningless record of creating games. Besides, the mods have stripped Herk of premium and guested him, so I think that suffices to answer the question. For surely we cannot applaud a record set in a way that is deemed to break the rules/ not be in the spirit of the site?

I'm not sure where to draw the line, but missing 95%+ of your turns is definitely not close Personally I'd say... taking 90%+ of your turns should qualify you in the same league as HA & AoN perhaps. This until someone achieves a record without missing any turns, at which point he raises the bar to a new level.

not sure where jigger1986 maxed, but he was over 500, played herk in 500 1v1s

I maxed at 582, but I have no proof, no screen shots, BUT I missed 0 turns.

lol, hell no! 582 games was way too much, and they were mostly 1v1 on aor (drop and end) I couldnt and wouldnt want to imagine playing 1300 games. It took me almost 8 hours on the first day just to play the turns I had.

Yeah it sucks, I still have 200 games with him, and to make it worse, someone logged on his account and played like 30 turns starting with 10 seconds left to about 20 mins, all games where he had missed 2 turns in a row. So now I have to take those turns again AND wait 24 or him to miss. Really annoying when I know the points I won off him earlier are going to be taken away anyway.

I didn't know about all this until seeing the thread. I wanted to learn some new maps, saw a col. with a bunch of 'ww2 poland' maps and so thought I would be able to learn something without costing too much (as we are always told to do). now i find i am likely to lose around 100 points a game.

582 games with all turns taken is a hell of a lot more impressive than 1304 games with 2000-4000 turns missed

The brutal part is I took the last 300 knowing 1. he'll deabeat 2. I'll win 0 points 3. Any points I do win are likely to be taken away due to point dumping/intentional deadbeating. 4. If I do lose, I lose 100 points.

i offered to play some games on his team and got no invites

he mustn't have wanted me to lose any points - what a nice bloke

Seems someone is taking turns. He was down to 56 points, now up to 681. So now every win he gets strips a ton of points from anyone he beats. I missed the 1st turn in the game of mine he jumped in and now his turns are being made (with no mention of a sitter).

Also, his flag changed to US now.

Yea--not sure why they just didnt kick him out of all those games--he will net close to 100 points every time he wins when he is that low
