Flores is currently over the Atlantic so we won't have a claim from her before deadline. She checked the forums yesterday though so she knew she could be lynched, and didn't claim. I believe she is scum either way so would rather not leave it to chance....

I agree, a no lynch would be bad.

Since the deadline is today I'm going to vote Flores as well.

I agree that no lynch would be bad, but I just can't see the case against flores as being much more than a random vote. If someone can help me understand why she is scummy enough to warrant a lynch I'll flip, but as it stands right now I can't bring myself to moider someone so lightly

The restaurant finally seemed to be getting itself together, a "Help Wanted" sign was placed on the new window, any law enforcement who had eaten the former cook's dishes agreed it was just self defense, the matter had been covered up and wasn't to be spoken of, it was an understanding between the town, a sacrifice necessary to an end. But one patron sat alone at a table with no food or drink, Flores broke the relative calm with a storm that divided the restaurant in two. "Why should we suffer for Drewdude's mistake? We all saw him do it, he had the knife!"

The owner locked the door to prevent anyone outside from entering the spectacle. They clamored back and forth, discussing the fate of Drew, and the morality of the community's action.
"We should turn him in, he's the murderer, we were just bystanders."
"No! we were all involved! This matter is to stay between us."
"Herk deserved it, it was him or us."
"Herk was still not involved with the mafia, they wanted him dead like they wanted all of us dead!"
"Drew must be a part of the mafia! let's get rid of him before he kills any more of us!"
Drew was dismissive, he told them to trust his words and he could prove his identity, his speech made some of the patrons believe that he had extra influence over their actions, they let him go and instead focused on Flores, believing it was hypocritical for her not to take responsibility. They accused her of setting people up drew to be killed the same way as herk, they asked if she was with the local mafia.
She responded with a joke, "Hey, if you guys can't find the mafia, maybe it's 'cause they're all home for the holidays.".

In the end they tied her up like they did with drew, then it got silent...

The day dwindled to close, "we can't just keep her here forever...". The group needed to decide what to do, let her go, or kill her. Flores had been silent for quite some time, she refused to acknowledge the situation she was in. she wouldn't even respond with the more sympathetic staff who offered food. In the end Haggis_McMutton took action, "if you guys don't have the guts to do something, we aren't going survive this." he dragged her out the back way to end it, just before the door closed Floresdelmal spoke up "The customers here stink as much as the food! I'm sure glad I didn't get this place from the Don like we planned, I'd have just had to burn it down anyways! "

The emotional drain overwhelmed jeraado's sense of caution, the waitress looked for no one's protection on this night, heading out before the night shift. The day was tiring, hardly from the day's work which had little to do with serving customers, but from the trauma of finally coming face to face with the mafia.
As she neared her apartment a shock went down her spine, there was no physical blow to cause this, just a cold click to her back, immediately adrenaline flowed throughout her and she bit lightly on her tongue to prevent her scream.
"Wise move girl." taunted a voice behind her.
"I'll make this painless for you since you know your place, I run this town and no one messes with me." He sighed as she stood then stunded gulping back tears.
"Now that you guys offed my cook I have to do this myself... send one of you to the grave and tell you it's too late to pay up."
He ended her life with one point blank shot to the back of her skull.

I suppose the waitress was poisoned? If she's a hider, why would she *not* hide? :x

I don't think she was poisoned. If she was, then why the gunshot? Seems like a typical mafia kill to me. As for the hiding, well maybe he was just inactive. I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't hide. :?

Well, it is at least possible that jerrado was simply afraid of hiding behind a mafiaq and didn't want to risk it thinking that he might not be targeted anyway. But, when it comes down to it we can't be exactly sure why he didn't hide, and I am not sure that it really matters why at this point...

Well assuming he did hide as he should've, there must've been a reason for him to be dead. This might be another bite at the role-apple. This guy was, according to you, either stupid or absent. Since we already lynched a poisoner last night I don't think we can rule out the third possibility.

There's also something in the story I don't understand.. The mafioso (I assumethe killer is a mafioso...) says we offed his cook already. But the only cook we offed was TheHerkMan. And he wasn't mafia.

I think he was referring to Flores, buddy.

4.FloresDelMal, Mafia Chef (action poisoner) Lynched Day Two

Yeah.

Also, to me the story seems to imply that there's only the godfather left(and he performs the kill), which would be kind of weird since the lack of deaths make a SK unlikely ...

Hey, please. A "mafia chef" can also be a "mafia chief". Don't blame me for not being native English.
