The game with the wrong target killed was Game 9336360. When this happens a 3 player game is made with the person killed, the person that killed them and the person who won because of the error. That game was Game 9439427. So the remake was correct.

I'll update later, either tonight in the AM or on Thurs.--have a bad cold and am wrecked. Thanx for your patience guys.

Thank you to all those that joined and played in this tournament. I appreciate everyone that participated and made this the success that it was. I've never run a tourney that lasted this long(I don't think I have at least :p). It's run over almost 3 school semesters and one summer(that's how I count time now, lol). So once again, great job everyone, you should be proud of how far you made it.

Okay, so first blood goes to Bones2484, and as we have six VERY, VERY, strong players in this final, with a total of almost eighty games to play, this could take a while. I'm a bit surprised that that one game is already over...less than ten days later...hmm....Oh well, next game has been sent to keep you all at ten at a time.

It's still anyone's game, but there are only 40+ games left to win, 8 of those in progress and likely decided, so strategy has to come into play while at the same time you can't kill the wrong target as that means you're out that game.

interesting, strategy in the big picture could change the games a little. It could add more depth or ruin the games. Whats the rules around this? Just asking cause if its free rein out there I may have to pull off a few sneaky moves lol.

The main rule would be to not kill the wrong target. This is of course for the benefit of all, but also so that no player loses a chance to play a game that counts. It would suck if a player lost by 2 and it turned out they were DQ'd from a few games because of errors they had made.

Other than that it's just like any assassin game where you'd figure out who is after what player and try to keep them from dominating while at the same time going after your target.

So ultimately there's only two rules: the one above and to win the most games. How you go about doing that is up to you. If you give games to other players that have less points, that's a risk that you can take as it can be considered a strategy. It's a strategy I don't like and one that screws other people over, but it's still a strategy Just don't be subversive in this, I don't want any accusations of shady dealings.
