In the German map there's a misprint. I don't know the exact terminology to use, but in the gameplay when you choose a terit to deploy/attack, Pfalz is written as Pflaz.

Regarding the Unification Italy map I noticed a couple of wrong names displayed.

There is a zone called 'A Királyság Magyarország'. This sounds quite weird, and is incorrect grammar in Hungarian. It should either read: 'Magyar Királyság' (Kingdom of Hungary) or 'Magyarország' (Hungary).

There is also a region called 'Felso-Magyarország'. If you used the letter 'á', then you should use the 'ő' as well. Correctly it should read 'Felső-Magyarország' (Upper-Hungary).

The Rheinprovinzien bonus is misspelled in the text drop down menu, as Rehinprovinzien.

Edit: it's actually the text map, and it's for both the basic bonus and the one with Elsass.

Also noted, i will fix this as well. Thank you!

That was a quick turnaround, thanks.
Just one more thing: Please capitalize the letter 'm' in the name of 'Felső-Magyarország'.

just played italian unification... Didnt think I would like it. It actually is a nice map. plays kinda sort of a little like the other italy map, but maybe Im just associating the italy thing unconsciously.

Got to say, yeti and oaktown need to watch out, because you are becoming one of my favorite mapmakers... some good epic players kind of maps coming out.

Just wanted to say cheers.

Thanks! I'm glad you like it. I'm having some fun on these maps as well, perhaps more than I did on 13 Colonies. We should play some games together...

I like the map.

It's a little hard to tell where "Elba" belongs. Can you clarify on the map?

Hi all. I'm going to have a match in the Italy map. I was wondering why you named the south of Italy as Cosenza. It should be Calabria (the southern region) and Lucania (the Norhtern region , that one between Napoli and Bari) .
Bye

Sorry for the delayed responses guys but work and life have been kicking my ass.

@player57832 - Well, i personally think Elba is clear as day. It's right next to the island and the only words and numbers that go in the sea. I guess I'm open to suggestions. I thought about switching the numbers and words, but doubt it would do anything to clarify further where Elba is.

@Robis - I named them because the map I based this map on named them that. I think Cosenza is named that way because that's where Garibaldi landed during the war and forced the garrison of Naples to surrender. It was further grouped with Lucania to simplify the bonus region of the Kingdom of Two Sicilies.

I figured, CC already has a regional map of Italy and I didn't want to make the same map with different bonus regions, which is why many areas are named after battle areas rather than their regions.

If with landed you mean where he touched the land once arrived from Sicily, it is surely not Cosenza, because where he landed is Melito, near Reggio Calabria. The name Cosenza is historically and gegoraphically uncorrect

Alright, I double checked it on the maps and it seems I've made the mistake then. Garibaldi landed at Reggio... but you refer to it as Reggio Calabria... forgive my ignorance, but what's the difference?

I'm willing to run with Reggio or Reggio Calabria after you tell me what the difference between the two is. From the maps I've seen, it looks like Reggio is the actual place he landed... here's what I'm working off of:

Alright guys, I updated the image and xml for Italy. It should now read Reggio Calabria rather than Cosenza.

Thanks for your help Robis and jasnostj

Wikipedia says this: "Mentre forze borboniche attendevano lo sbarco garibaldino a Reggio, il 19 agosto Garibaldi prescelse un tragitto alquanto più lungo e sbarcò sulla spiaggia ionica di Melito Porto Salvo, in Calabria.", that means that while Borbons were waiting for Garibaldi in Reggio Calabria, he arrived in Melito Porto Salvo, that is on the jonian sea.
I think that the area now called "Reggio Calabria" (former Cosenza) is quite big for a single city, it should be named with the name of the whole region "Calabria".

Ciao
Enrico

I'm surprised no one's mentioned this already: I think Austria is terribly overvalued. If you hold that with Hungary and Oberpfalz, you're getting 7 bonus for 10 territories with just 2 borders, plus an auto-deploy, and good expansion potential. So far I've won 2 out of 2 games out of Austria-Hungary -- can anyone corroborate this suspicion?

Well, I wanted Austria to be strong but I think you make a good point. During the Italian Unification, it was Austria's strength that kept Italy from meeting major success. But plus 7 for 10 territories with two borders is pretty powerful.... any recommendations for lowering the bonus without making austria too weak?
