When i thnk of Japan, i htink of bright lights, and Tokyo and things like that....Maybe this would be more fitting for MOdern Japan:

ok, you guys know what, i'm going back to the original one that Gnome helped me make. I am changing the name to "Ancient Japan" and now i know how to use layers so this should go easyer, here is the map. Start suggesting!(i know its blury and alittle pixeled but thats because its saved as bmp and uploaded to photobucket):

are you sure that you have real japan map?Its look that yours island is in wrong place.

Ok guys, here it is, Telvannia did the graphics and i think its sweet and hopefully you think it is too. I'm also learning how to do a xml so i will have that done soon(maybe). so here it is, tell me what you all think:

Yes, i know the islands arn't where they are in real life but if you put them where they go the right way the map is too big, see here:

I think that some guys before you create Japan map,and he dont have size problem,so i belive that its posible to put island in right place.
Here what you ask,ofcourse colours and others efect(shadows .glows...) can create you.

The graphics look indeed better, but the whole island thing really throws off the whole map. When a Japan map was originally tried by Haydena, he just tilted Japan at an angle (think how Italy was done by RJbeals)...which allowed him to keep the ends where they geographically are. I think he had to have a little cut off in the north, but the integrity of the geography was kept intact...
