OK, if any players have games almost finished and need passwords for their next ones, please contact me.

Also if there are any problems, Pedronicus will be away from computer for a few days so contact me.

niMic/Augusta, I have already pmed the Sweden captain (your opponents in your next game) with the password asking them to join several days ago, but seeing as they have yet to respond or join I'll send you guys the password now in a minute, and tell them to wait and join second.

Don't lose before our match Qeee1, you promised me we would play against each other some time :D Russia/Brazil just won its first victory.

Against the Irish, so you've got a reputation to restore. GL in all of your games.

Heh, we'll see Riyana.

Also I'm working on getting all dissappeared games back up, but it may take a day or two, as Pedro's gone and I can't host them myself (not premium). I'm relying on others (Twill) to get them up, and Twill's a busy man, so please be patient.

Why burden Twill? Why not just have the captain (or designee) start their own games, then PM the game number/pw to the captain of the opposing team? Just designate on the webpage which team is responsible for creating the games. Surely there's enough premie members to take care of this? And for the few games where none of the 6 players are premie, just have Twill set those few up, instead of all of them.

I have been doing what you suggested Wicked, and in a few cases it's worked but I find that a lot of teams can't be relied upon. A lot don't even respond when you send them messages. Then there's also the ones who don't have premium.

So I've done some games via captains and the rest by Twill.

have to agree with wicked...
and some captains actually do fix everything themselves and pm qeee the gamenumber when everything is done 8)

its called initiative... im certainly not sitting on my butt (tiny such thank you very much) and just waiting for someone else to fix things

come on people... give qeee and twill a break... most of u do now how to start up a game - then just mail queee the new game number

how hard can that be???

1st thing: group A, game 2b number is 33102.

2nd thing:
"In the event of a tie, the team who killed the most opponents will go through, if there is still a tie, there will be a coin toss by a neutral third party (so don't moan about it if you lose)."

Arent you considering other things beyond a coin toss? Like how many turns to take each victory, or how many turns before a defeat? Even number of victories arent considered, whats strange. For example, a team with a PW and 2 losses, and a team with one loss, one GW and one AW, 3 points each. 2 victories is better, isnt it? And direct confront? Better than a coin toss, I believe.

I believe we can change it, since only a few games ended, and many dont even start until now. I suggest:
1) Number of victories
2) Kills difference (other players killed - members of the team killed)
3) Kills from other teams
4) Direct confront
5) Coin toss

What do you say?

I agree Mav, coin toss should be the last resort if there's a tie...It'll be crap if u win say all ur matches, but not with PW & the lose out 2 someone because of a coin toss..

Hey Marv:

Instead of a coin toss you could either count up how many rounds each team won in with the lowest being the tie breaker or count up how many men they each have at the end of all their games.

Just a suggestion to think about instead of the coin toss.

Firstly I've got a bunch of new games from Twill, which I will put up and send out messages about tonight (I'm not a my home computer right now). I've also got one or two games from captains to put up.

Secondly, as regards rules, I'm slow to change them now that the competition has started. I can't just drastically change the format without consulting all the teams to see if there are any objections.

I would be willing to change what happens in the event of a draw, with priority going like this:

1) Number of pts.
2) Number of victories
3) Kills difference
4) Lowest number of rounds for victories
5) Possible direct confrontation, or coin toss. Depending on willingness of teams and time.

How do people feel about this?

sound like good suggestions qeee1 - you will have my support

have to agree with Marv that coin toss (as second and last option) doesnt seem fair.
there are better ways to seperate teams that have the same amount of points.

Yeah, I agree with onbekende. I think I'll implement my suggestion soon, unless somebody raises an issue with it.

UPDATE:

All the deleted games are back up, except for group G's. Also Group E now have all their games started, which has made me so happy I want to have sex with them all, even Wicked. You should all be more like them, I'll even promise not to have sex with you if you are.

But um yeah... If any team is not in any games and doesn't have any games to join at the moment please let me know, and I'll try sort you out, but most likely we're waiting on your opponents.

AK_Iceman has been replaced, in case anyone's wondering. But S.A/Singapore are still looking for a replacement as far as I know.

Also shut up about beating Ireland. Not looking like a good tourney for us so far. The last round in my first game went pretty badly too...
