Re: (Restarted)NCAA College Hoops 2009-10
Ok, just read through most of the thread, now I see how this is done!
So, ahem...
The Central Michigan Chippewas have surprised everyone, including their own coach, by winning 6 of their first 7 games, including road wins against Notre Dame and Purdue! The one loss to Missouri is the only blot on their current record, although the already have half of their total win count from last season!
(Data from http://www.cmuchippewas.com/SportSelect ... PSID=46435)
Also, I think my home map should be Australia, (as noted in the first post) but currently I have been getting Poker Club. No complaints from me, especially since I won both games, but in the future, the Chippewas would feel more comfortable on the Aussie Map.
Ahem...I mean...
While the Chippewas are off to a great start, their Coach notes that Central Michigan University's new athletic facility is behind schedule. This delay has forced the Basketball team to play its first "home" games at a nearby casino stadium. While some of that luck must have rubbed off on the team, Coach did make this statement after their last game:
"You know, and I know, what I mean to say, you know, is that we both, well, I mean we all know, that the new facility was supposed to be completed by now. And I'm not going to point fingers, you know, but here when they couldn't decide on the name those first two months, and then didn't start the project because we couldn't find a sponsor with the dough for the naming rights, you know, well, we all know, that puts us out. But then, what I know you, and what my guys know, but what no one else seems to know, is that we have something to prove. We are going to prove, that stadium or not, we can win."
Hopefully the Chippewas get their new years wish and will be able to move into their new digs by their next home game.

I am still catching up on all the rules. Thanks for the clarification.

All games for Dec 10-13 have been sent out. I'm running a little behind schedule with computer issues and New Year's festivities, but I'll get caught up on the mini-tournaments this weekend.
Happy New Year everyone!

Re: (Restarted)NCAA College Hoops 2009-10
Gonzaga is 7-2 (2-2 Home, 2-0 Road, 3-0 Maui Invitational - Won Tourney)
The Zags are road warriors. The original intention was to dominate @ home (Route 66), but apparently people like my home turf. Might have to change that next year.
I am currently hosting Louisiana Tech @ home. Hopefully a victory there can get me 8-2 @ a .600 home record.
After that I assume I have a road game @ Duke (two of the non-tourney games I've played were not on the normal schedule). The Duke game is arms race. That one depends a lot on the drop. I'm hoping I get some luck there. Then two home games after. No need to look further than that. If I can win the next four I'll be in a good spot. If not then a grind is coming with four straight road games after that!

Xavier wins its last 2 to hit the .500 mark at 4-4.
FYI - Kent State dead-beated from the game (which is a shame, cause they could have won)

Also - Cincinnati is a no-show

All games for Dec 14-Dec 18 have been sent out.
If we don't hear back from yellow this week, I'll update the standings and put them in one of my posts at the beginning of the thread - I can't access his graphic.

Zags win @ Coach K Court. Zags unofficial count is 3-0 on the road and 3-0 on a neutral court. Gonzaga has not lost away from home yet!
