Scoring and avoiding stalemates:

1. For 4 players game: Winner gets +1 match point (MP).
2. For 6 players game: Winner gets +3 MPs, Second place gets 0MP, Third place gets -1 MP
3. For 8 players game: Winner gets +4 MPs, Second +1MP, Third 0MP, Forth -1 MP
4. If you missed a game not because of your fault then following averages will be awarded: 4 Players games: 0.5MP, 6 Players games: 0.7MP, 8 Players games: 1MP
5. Every game must finish by the end of round 35.
6. If a game is not finished by beginning round 36 then every team remaining will get -1 (minus one) MP.
7. Those rules will be applied regardless of how many armies/countries you have left.

how come we only got 5 games in round 5?

If you are in the bottom of the list, you might not have available opponents for a specific game, i.e. you get "bye" for the specific game.

In this case, you will receive an average result, as described in the first post.
