she pwns too, port wine, 2 lbs of chocolate a week...smoking until your 117. Never had to work because she had a rich husband, clearly she just outplays us in the longevity game.

Rule #1 for living long: No grouches.

My grandmother heard much later in her life that scientists believed laughing was one of the best exercises; she laughed saying "I could have told them that". She lived until she was 100 (almost 101).

Longliving family helps too.

This seems like it was your reason for believeing before you decided not to (Backglass and porkenbeans seem to agree). Given that no one can speak reliably as to the motives of another group (not being privy to the actual information), It appears that this is at best a flimsy reason for believeing held by folks who seem not to in the first place.

I can say that anonymity and uncertainty don't really enter into my reasons.

Here was my post on my actual reasons:

She fudged baptism and registry documents, as well as two census records? I suppose it's possible...

Yeah, but I get a bonus out of this anyhow, even if it isn't monetary.

I'd certainly like to see that link. Lots of things are measured in "grade level" as a basic measurement of knowledge or skill. I didn't assume anything btw. You stated it, in response to Juan's question.

Actually about as many as have been slaughetered in the name of nationalism, economics, and other ideologies. A perusal of the history of war will show that (6.98% including the wars that have included Islam, 3.23% for those that have been included other religions) can be directly tied to religion (Day, Vox. The Irrational Atheist. pg. 100). Day's cited spurce for this information follows, (so that you can check if desired) it still shows more than 90% of of a significant sample (1,763) of wars in recorded history cannot be accurately deemed religious wars (Phillips, Charles and Alan Axelrod. Encyclopedia of Wars. 2005). Atheistic regimes (especially the communist variteties) tend to knock their own citizenry off with frightening efficiency. Can you really claim that much superiority in this regard?

So I donate the our time so that you can read some of the ''RED'' words to her insted. In the meantime, I will try to see what I can do with the instructions that you were so kind to give me.

You don't know that some have not done it. It is unlikely that some have, but we don't know. Until proper documentation was invented, then we don't really know.

It must of sucked to be older than 120 though. Think of all the great's grandchildren you will have, and your bones would ache, and you'd piss yourself all the time.

seemingly if the good folks at Guinness book of world records believe her age to be accurate, it should probably be good enough for you or i. They tend to take their records rather seriously.
