This whole thread has been BS.
Page after page of crap. Almost all defence of the avy's has been either "freedom of speech," or "it's funny."

Andy and the other mods aren't going to do anything. If they were, it would have already been done. They are just trying to look nice. But all that they are doing is wasteing your/our time.
Furthermore... what guidelines? I think you all have just about crossed most every boundry... with no consequences.

I can't for the life of me see how blackface can ever be considered appropriate.

Juan, I think the mods, or at least some, are convinced of that. There is an effort to work this out, possibly with a thread in the abuse forum. So hang in there and watch, there may be an opportunity to support the people who initially raised the objection to the black face avatar.

I'm supporting the hell out of them.

Juan, if you would have read the last page or so, you would see that Black Face isn't acceptable. , and the user has been dealt with accordingly.

The Guidelines have been undergoing some rewriting, we'll try to make them more explanatory.

It wasn't just that, yo. OWENSHOOTER had to jump through some hoops. I don't understand the hoop process, why procrastinate until called out? And what about JBRETTLIPs avy? Are you saying that if a mod finds a violation they have to wait for a complaint before they can do anything?

Because the human mind is sadly incapable of discerning between male (allowed) and female (forbidden) nipples I have changed my avatar that until a few minutes ago looked like this

after having used it for less than an hour.

all those bumps from hairs?? if my girlfriend's nipple is the perfect female specimen, which i believe it is.... the female nipple should be a soft pink, with no hair or bumps on it

i prefer brown to pink.. its rather ridiculous that a nipple is censored by polite society. But i suppose the fostering of this taboo does make it all the more exciting when you get to tweak one.

So what is the final decision? What progress will be made? Any chance for an independent panel to filter user names/avatars?

illegal in germany, right? so many fascinating double standards... but we all know the owner/admins/mods have the best of intentions and work tirelessly on this site, so we have to help them when we can. i would suggest doing what andy said, take it to cheats & suggestions if you have concerns... it is interesting. would love to hear how that played out.-0

The swastika in the Das Schlob map is there because the map is set during World War II. If you have a concern about it being on the map, please voice those to cairnswk in his foundry thread. Link.

The history of the swastika spans 3000 years... can this powerful image only be thought of as evil?
