Make some borders on the regions so that you don't have to guard every place in that region you own, because you shouldn't be getting more for a region where you only have to guard two territories than a region where you have to guard 3 territories.

I am in LOVE with the Luxembourg map!

Everything about it is great, the way the bonuses are layed out, the graphics, and the size! It is absolutely perfect!

Graphics are ok.. But game play is terrible for heads up games where the roll of the dice determines the outcome of the game.. Strategy is out the window on this map being only 19 territories..

Well i rec. a pm from gimil that my last comment was inappropriate a direct attack at me and my statement by manimal is that not considered flaming it is off topic and an obvious direct attack at me.[mod edit] Flame is a nono. We are all nice bunnies in the foundry - gimil =][/mod edit]

I am a great fan also. Good-looking, clean, and simple graphics that are fun to play on. Looking forward to many more maps.

I feel there should be a health warning on this map ;)

Luxembourg - could severely damage your rank in a couple of turns....

I suppose it is possible to have a decent game with 3 players - but anymore and it becomes a bit of a farce.

Hopefully we don't get too many more of this type of map.

You'll have to elaborate why you think it's great other than it allows people to gain 100 points from a game lasting on average about 3 rounds.

hehe, just another doodle - but it's worse since terits are less rounded and targets will be even farther away

Games with two players seem to have a large number of drops where one player gets a bonus, I know it's a small map but it seems a bit ridiculous.

I'm wondering if there is a way to reduce the number of neutrals in a 1v1 game. As it currently stands each player starts with 6 armies. This means that the second player is somewhat likely to have only 4 armies by the start of his turn and, more importantly, will often have to cut through several layers of neutrals to get at his opponent. I'm wondering about the possibility of each player starting with 9 which doesn't give the first player enough to get to 4 armies on the first turn and also usually will indicate that the second player will be able to attack.

The downside is that it may be easier for the first player to grab a continent bonus early here but I don't know if that's as bad as the inability of having an attack outlet.

Now admittedly I've only played 1v1 on it 4 times so the sample size is low but here are the types of games I'm referring to

Game 3091524 Round 1 I went first and took two terts giving me a 6-4 advantage. Additionally I held the Terras Rougue bonus and had essentially eliminated my opponent from the south.

Game 3131260 Round 1 I went first and again took two terts for the 6-4 advantage. On this one I held Moselle

I too love the Luxemburg map, it is quickly becoming my favourite map on the site.

With all of these complex maps coming through the foundry it was nice to see such a basic, simple and clean looking map made. Personally i am not a fan of all of these maps with complex bonuses and strange ways of attacking non adjacent territories. Which is why this map is one of my favs.

Personally i hope they don't change anything surrounding the gameplay as i think that is fine as it is, and personally i don't think the gameplay is unbalanced, i think everything about the map is amazing!!!! :D
