Of course it's worth conquering...or at least worth taking bits when you are traveling. Consider the Ice Cap as the 'Quad' in the CCU map. The Quad is a bridge territory, to connect many points of the map. The CCU map, the Quad can be a great thing to hold, as you can keep other opponents in check. If you manage to hold any piece of the Ice Cap here, you can virtually do the same. And if you do manage to hold it all, you get a nice little bonus, something I think is generous.
Regarding the Iceland thing, it works fine in a Western Europe, as if you look at any Europe map, it is usually the farthest west country.
Anyways, Speler, if you like, I can go through and tell you all the coordinates that need to be centralized more, or if you like you can do that bit on your own. Let me know.

I think it works fine.Wikipedia -- Western Europe wrote:...The island-states of Iceland, Malta and Cyprus are generally considered part of Western Europe, but most of the time they are simply ignored.

When centralizing, try to keep consistency in where they are. For instance take a look at Arctic Alaska -- that one looks spot on!
So, what I will do, I'll base all centralizing off that particular country, and I'll tell you all the countries that I believe are FINE.
I think those are the ones that seem to be pretty spot on with Arctic Alaska, my choice of centralization.
