It looks like a different penguin - perhaps this is an "old" penguin that Cairns hasn't replaced at some time?
It first appears on page 13...

No it was the top of a two digit. Its' now removed in the next version 22.

I think it's good

definitely you should be open to making adjustments after the map is quenched though.

Are you making the snorkels have a decay or just give a -1 bonus? It doesn't say on the map. Though with 9 snorkels I think it has to be a decay (as I talked about before).

yes it will be a decay...if that is best!

EDIT: the maps above have been adjusted to add (decay) under the snorkel bonus text. please refresh your browser to see the change.

              Final Forge

---The Treasures of Galápagos Map has reached the ‘Final Forge’ Stage. I've revived this thread from the pits of the Foundry Furnace (okay, maybe not) and have examined the contents. Nearly every major concern has been addressed. If there are any other current concerns, please make your voice heard. If after a reasonable amount of time there has not been any objection or protest, the map will be deemed finished with the 'Foundry Brand' of approval and will be submitted for live play. As long as there is still discussion or posts that have yet to be commented on, the map will remain in Final Forge until said discussion has reached the conclusion that the map has reached its final and polished version.

Post questions and concerns if any.

With the exception of the centering, the xml has been written.

I could not put the xml into [code] brackets as i got this message

Your message contains 79333 characters. The maximum number of allowed characters is 60000.

So here is the link file.

quench! (after XML is checked)

why dont you or didnt you just cut out 10,000 odd letters and put them in a different code bracket, e.g:

Code: Select all

1st 60,000 characters

Code: Select all

*continueation of 1st*
and the rest:

I checked the XML and found these mistakes:

-bonus Marchena is named Marchean in XML
-bonusses Genovesa, Isabela North, Santiago, Santa Fe of 0 are not needed in XML
-bonus Floreana on map is called Floreola in XML
-bonusses of 8 luggers are 0 in XML and 2 on the map
-All 9 Reefs and Lugger Wolwin bonusses are 4 in XML in stead of 3
-On map it says: Dive Luggers connect between each other. Does this mean that all 8 border each other? In XML they don’t.
-There are 2 territories named MA2 on the map, the eastern 1 should be MA3
-In borders in XML Floreana is called Floreola

I really like this map. It looks really interesting and I would love to play it. I like your unique style. Your maps are always very original and stand out among others. Good luck Cairns, well deserved.
