Yeah, I can do it.

I would love to do it but can not guarantee that I will be available at that time. That's dinner time, which is not something that I tinker around with lightly.
I will be there if I can to watch but someone else should probably take the responsibility for drawing.

My predictions thus far, i knew picking RA was a long shot but they didnt use my favorite player in more than one game... could have gone 100%... though anything can happen with the last 4 undecided matchups, but they are looking good.

Winners In Red

Correct:
KOA (Kill On Arrival) vs. DYN (Dynasty)
AFOS (A Fistful of Sixes) vs. AKA (Always Kicking A$$)
TO (Team Ohio) vs. GG (1st Regiment of Foot Guards: Grenadier Guards)
TNC (The New Crusade) vs. LEG (Legion)

Incorrect:
RA (Risk Attackers) vs. AOD (Angels of Death)

Not Decided:
MD (Manifest Destiny) vs. GR (Grim Reapers)
OSA (One Step Ahead) vs. PR (Pig Renters)
LOTZ (Legends of the Zone) vs. SOH (Spelunkers of Hell)
TFFS (The Fantastic Four-Skins) vs. BSS (Black Sheep Squadron)

Oh man, I just drew pretty shitty for the quarterfinals.

Sorry folks, our side of the bracket is vicious.

Potential quarterfinals matchups: TOFU vs. BotFM and FOED vs. AOC

Winners meet in the semifinals.

You are playing AOC.

I didn't write down the rest of the matchups, because I didn't really care.

But alt1978 and I drew the second round opponents, and then I drew the quarterfinal matchups.

Gosh, was it really that much of a long shot? :|

The score was pretty close at one point, and it didn't help us one bit that Mc Lor died (no joke). We are grieving, but still fighting hard. Right now, AOD has a three game advantage over us- so it's not a blow out, even with Mc Lor being removed from 7 games. There is no way we can catch up now and AOD is increasing the lead.

I am very proud with how RA played in this war. I am realistic about our ability, but I still wouldn't say it was a long shot. Maybe slightly unlikely.

Hi, two quick questions:

1) Do we have any updated timeline regarding when we will be required to submit our maps/settings for Round 2 action?

2) Am I correct to understand from the rules that when a challenge is being set up: Each clan will send Tournament Organizer their maps/settings including their home teams for the dubs/trips/quads. T.O. will then assign the singles bouts randomly, but each clan will have the opportunity to assign teams that they choose for the away dubs/trips/quad matchups?

I'm sorry if this has already been asked.

Edit: And thanks for posting the full draw! We've got our work cut out for us!

1. I'm just going o wait a couple of days for a couple more first round ties to conclude. Once second round ties start, deadlines will be imposed, strictly (although they will be realistic).

2. When a challenge is set-up, clan organisers create, post and join their home team games, then their away team games as per the rules and as per a 'normal' war. Clans can therefore select which players join 'away' games amongst themselves (subject to max game restrictions per player of course).

Several days later, organisers are given a deadline to send me their 5 1 v 1 players, maps and settings (each player has 2 'home' maps, 10 different maps must be used for 1 v 1 overall (incl. Random). I then create the games, assigning each individual player an opponent (according to the order they were PM'd to me) and send invites with a deadline. Each player then plays a 4-game series against the same opponent, 2 'home', 2 'away'. There is therefore no picking and choosing who plays 'away' games in 1 v 1. I also create tie-break games at this point where picking-and-choosing can take place (player restrictions dont apply to tie-breaks). Tie-break games are only significant if the scores are otherwise equal.

AOD defeats RA...

There is only 1 trips and 1 quads + tie-breaker game in progress, Quads is a win for AOD, and trips and tie-breaker do not allow for RA to win...

Bring on the Gren. Guards!

I think we definitely got the easier half of the draw, so just need to avoid getting upset by MM and AoD (likely), before facing LoW (likely) who we should have a fair shot against, and then on to the Title which should be easy enough at that stage ;)
Nice drawing guys, and I'm really glad I didn't do it so I can't be accused of match-fixing :D

Would anyone actually be interested in me applying for a GA medal on the dispatches behalf to whoever can accurately predict the completed bracket?

A long shot in such that i have a lot of respect for AoD (which is why in my original prediction post i said they could win the whole thing if they got by RA). Not that i think you guys are not good, i have had my eye on you guys and OSA for a few months now as good up and coming clans is all.
