Alright guys sorry for not being there on the first day! when you guys did the first lynch! I was at a one of my close freinds wedding. so when i did get back this week i total forgot about this thread. I think so far I think we SHOULD NOT LYNCH UNTIL ALL NAMES ARE POSTED!!! and as it would benefit all if we went in the order that has been brought up for a number of reasons. once we have all names in the order we can use share our investigation. So i think it seem that The best plan for us is to make day 2 last as long as humanly possible to get all the information out there!!! even if we know someone to be mafia This way we should be able to discover all mafia people Today *crosses fingers so as such i will not vote.
edocsil wrote:I would shay screw the order, if you haven't claimed yet, do so. One of the last to claim is the one we will pick to lynch for various reasons.
EXTRA FOS on edoc. Now you just want to lynch people based on how frequently they check the board? Clearly our current target has said "screw you" to the town. We should go to the next person in order and just lynch tonka. Obviously he has already been found guilty and does not want to claim. Gimli, you are next, followed by shm (who?).
The thought wasn't based off activity, reluctance to claim more the thought. This claiming business will take us a few days (I guess 3) If it takes that long for someone to read the thread and post a role, well perhaps they should be replaced.
I think there are a few scrambling to find a good fake and they will be some of the last to claim.

A standard which you suggest you yourself shouldn't be held to...

Of course this is a bizarre request, I'm sure I don't need to say why, instead I'll tell you the three possibilities that pop into my mind first. 1. You are mafia avoiding claiming for the reason you mention above. 2. You are a lyncher type role who is planning to counterclaim your target. 3. You are some sort of town with a twist that I can't really imagine, hopping to catch scum with said twist that they are probably already aware of since it likely involves your flavors. either way, I am still in favor of the order as it is.

Next time you can simply quote /'s post and "+1" or "QFT" it, as you didn't really add anything to the table.

/, Edocsil has accepted the responsibility for his actions. If he can't deliver what he promised, he knows it will be his ass on the line. I say give him the freedom to do what he wants (just like I wanted the freedom to carry on with my daylight interrogaton of Bleed in Unkown Mafia).
Very well, I can't enforce the law (without a substantial monetary motive to do so) unless the majority agrees but I can be highly suspicious of edoc's flip floppiness on the issue," save me for last, go in order, go out of order", all in two pages.... But I will say if this person is caught in a "lie" by edoc it is our best interest to save this person's death for a night kill just in case edoc is a lyncher, also assuming we don't have any contrary evidence between the lot of us. I am still in favor of order though, so GT next then?
Yeah I agree edoc makes himself look suspicious by not claiming now. When he does claim we should take his words with a grain of salt. Of course, I automatically look scummy because I have no problem with the order and my name happens to be at the bottom of the list. Funny how it ended up down there.
[b]Unvote Vote Got Tonkaed[b] Applying some pressure to help him make up his mind to claim. I still think Rodion is suspicious because of my Night 0 investigation, but so far he's been a town player (or so I think).
Yeah, radioactive squirrel! I'm glad you finally caught up! I hope your wedding went well

I would prefer to avoid getting into trouble with the mods.
For those of you familiar with the movie, the message I recieved was the exact message the Chief said to a few different characters before being revealed as the chief at the very end of the movie.
Now obviously in the movie the chief is on the side of the good guys, but he has some kind of recruiting ability and there is no reason to believe in an expanded universe of clue it has to be on the side of good.
I am quite confident if you googled "clue chief movie quote" you would find my exact pm.
Also, my claim will be with held for the time being. But if you take a look at my activity day 1 and think of non-main characters in the movie, you might be able to figure out my role and day 1 pr.
Upset over the two deaths during the night and rumors he was hearing from his guests, Mr. Boddy decided it was time to confront some people.
Mr. Boddy, Yvette, Ms. Ho, Wadsworth, The Singing Telegram Girl, Debra Hill, and Madame Rose all convened in the lounge and Wadsworth closed the doors behind them. They noticed Sergeant Grey in the recliner in the corner apparently sleeping off a liquid lunch but didn’t give it much thought.
“I’ve asked you all in here to clear a few things up,” said Mr. Boddy “There have been several guests discussing the hidden war bonds within the house and I have reason to believe all of you have been looking for them.”
“Wait a second,” said Wadsworth. “Should he (nodding in the direction of Sgt. Grey) really be in here for this discussion? The only time anyone around here seems to like him is when he’s somewhere out of sight, sleeping off a hangover. None of the guests trust him and I certainly don’t. If I’m about to get reamed out over the extracurricular night activities I do around here I certainly don’t want Grey to find out. People hate him as it is, should he get information not privy to the other guests and they find out they are liable to kill him.”
“Look at him Wadsworth, he’s passed out cold. He’ll be lucky to remember his name when he comes around. He isn’t my concern at the moment anyway,” said Mr. Boddy. “I have heard that all of you have been searching the house for the war bonds and I brought you in here to see if we could work out an arrangement of sorts. As you know, I have yet to discover their location despite several hours of looking. And, with the death of my half brother, there is one less person in this world who could claim a share of them.”
“I realize it is a lot of money, but know this, I have information on ALL OF YOU! And no amount of money can get you out of the trouble you’ll be in should I choose to go to the authorities with it. However, I’m not an unreasonable man. You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours.”
“Should one of our guests stumble upon the location of the bonds, it will take them some time to figure out how to get them out of the house. I believe they will probably enlist the help of one or two other guests to assist them. And that is where you all come in.”
“You see, you are the eyes and ears of this manor. You are all about the house assisting the guests with their needs and working the rooms in which we all gather every night. Everyone here wants to talk to you thinking you can lead them to the bonds. Whether it be through your knowledge of the house from years of service here, your handling of all blueprints of the manor as my realtor, your constant back and forth as a messenger, or your psychic abilities to sense things others cannot; you all have information they want.”
“So, I purpose we make a deal. Should any of you learn of the location of the bonds from a guest, then I would like you to inform me so that I can get them out of here safely. Should you do that and assist each other in questioning the guests and learning the location, then I shall compensate you all handsomely.”
“Now, you may think that anything I am willing to pay is small compared to $50,000,000. But, I guess it all depends on how much you value your freedom. I offer you each $500,000 and all the information I have on you. So, help each other out and walk away free and clear with extra coin in your pocket? Or, try to steal what is rightfully mine, never get a chance to spend it, and spend your remaining years in prison? The choice my friends is yours.”
It didn’t even take 10 seconds before everyone agreed to Mr. Boddy’s deal. $500,000 was quite a nice bonus and no more blackmail was an even sweeter deal. They were about to drink on it and toast their new arrangement when the doors suddenly flew open.
“What’s the meaning of this?” cried Colonel Mustard. “Trying to all work together to screw the rest of us out of a fortune, outrageous! I’m going to tell the others, we’ll search this house together and find that money. You’ll never get a chance to take it and run.”
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you!” said Madame Rose. “I think we can work something out right now to insure the others will never know of our discussion.”
As she spoke, she started to approach Colonel Mustard with the rope. The doors closed as he backed into them looking for a safe way out of the situation.
“Stay away from me with that vile woman! If you can read minds then you know I am trained for combat situations. You won’t get 10 feet from me with that rope.”
And with that, Colonel Mustard flipped the lights off and room went dark.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHH!”
“Turn the bloody lights back on!”
“What, what’s happening?”
“Ergghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…….”
*THUMP*
At that moment the doors flew open again and people made a break for it. The people that remained were panicked and groping around in the dark for the light switch. Reaching up, Wadsworth found the switch and flipped it on.
“EIIIIHHHHH! Oh no, it cannot be!” cried Yvette
On the floor was the body of Mr. Gold with rope around his neck. Leaning over the body was Colonel Mustard.
Anarkistsdream – Mr. Gold – is dead
“I, I….I didn’t do it! I heard the sound of someone fainting and tried to find the person. When the lights came on he was like this. He, he’s dead!”
Alarmed by this situation Wadsworth sprung into action.
“Yvette and Ms. Ho gather the guests and get them all together in the Conservatory. We need to figure out who was behind this and see if everyone has an alibi. The murders stop here and now!” “But, what about him?” asked Colonel Mustard.
“Leave him” said Wadsworth. “He can’t hurt us and his corpse will only frighten the other guests. Come, lets go question everyone. We need answers.”
As they made their way from the room, no one seemed to notice that Sergeant Grey was no longer in the recliner in the corner, nor would it seem, in the room at all.

Alright, that does it. I am insisting that everyone claim, today, in the original order agreed upon, ASAP, no exceptions, under threat of lynch. The whole point of this is we can't make an exception in the order we go in and that we wrap up as soon as possible. Otherwise, the claimed townies are going to get picked off one-by-one, leaving us in the dark as a bunch of unclaimed shy players, inactives, and mafia get by with excuses.
In addition, with every town player lost we lose the cellar cards they hold, which to be frank are ridiculously powerful. I don't care about catching scum on a hunch or clue, or cult, or whatever the heck else. I just want some names in an orderly fashion. We'll proceed from there. Vote Edoc to make my point perfectly clear.

How about a quick, gfy? The following the order doesn't mater at all and I have a chance to significantly help the town if I catch someone in a lie. How does it hurt you at all? Worried that I pull a fake out from the names not yet called? Trust me, my role is 100% certain to be in the game and I will not budge from my desire to be one of the last to claim, as my claim will be a hell of a lot more then just a name.

Try not to take the game personally, kid (assuming you didn't mean "good for you").
Honestly, I couldn't care less about your role. I don't even strongly suspect you're scum. It's actually GT that I'm very suspicious of and you're giving him a precedent to skip his claim as well. It's just that we have an unbiased order that no one with an agenda chose and it's most efficient and orderly way to go about it. We'll be waiting for several in-game days if we expect people to volunteer their own roles, trust me on that. In the meantime, mafia will be killing townies and burying those cellar cards.
But fine, I'll accept waiting a bit on your name and whatever else if you're so insistent that it will be helpful. However, we do need claims to start happening soon, preferably before a deadline is set and things start getting frantic. And if we get nowhere today, it's on you.

I am aware of the pressing time, but provided we keep the convo up it shouldn't be an issue. I doubt you are familiar with my playstyle, but while I may seem to have an emotional response at times I do not take these games personally, as they are games. And you have me by 2 years, hardly a kid when compared to yourself. That being said, points taken.

I am not an expert in clue characters...but singing telegram girl?
From the movie. It's a real character. However, it is still likely to be a fakeclaim. I haven't seen anything about the role in either the scenes or any of the investigations. If anyone has any evidence whatsoever that this character is in the game, now is the time to present it.
I have no clue about this "singing telegram girl." I've only played the board game, and was not ware whatsoever that there was a movie. But still, shouldn't this character have an actual name other than "singing telegram girl"?

That is the actual name of the character. For the last time: it is a real character, but still very likely to be a fakeclaim unless there is a single person who has evidence that character is in the game. Same with Debra Hill.
