CURRENT UPDATE INFO-2011-09-08:
- I adjusted the arrow in the title so that the "a" and "r" in war weren't touching the arrowhead. I also redrew the back end of the arrow so that it wasn't under the map itself.
- I also adjusted all of the small map icons and text so that nothing is touching any borders.

Excellent-looking map, the title and the dreamcatcher in particular really clinch the theme.
I have an idea, not sure if it's worthwhile but the flavor text seems a little understated. It looks a bit like it's part of the legend instructions rather than part of the map's story. In particular the first phrase of that paragraph strikes me. In earlier versions, it had a more prominent place.
Is there some way that the paragraph could get a boost for attention? Like bolding and separating the first phrase, such as,
"There is no death, only a change of worlds."
The 9 tribes of Florida are on the
warpath. Unite them or tear them
apart, amass weapons and scalp your
opponent on your journey to the sunrise.
Or maybe the extra-large first word or two that is used sometimes at the beginning of every chapter in a book (?) Anyway, it might not work out, but I thought that I'd post the idea just in case it proved useful.

- Changed around the title intro with the help of Marshal's suggestion, to hopefully add some flavor. Looks pretty good to me.

Congrats man! This is looking great! After reviewing the map, I think the legend is self explanitory with the graphics now

I am satisfied with the graphical development of this map. Here you are seamus, you earned this!

Just remember this is not a seal of completion, if any further graphical concerns happen to come up I still expect you to address them.

Welcome to final forge.
Good work,

Congrats, and great work managing to take all of our (sometimes contrary) opinions together and improve the map with them. Hope that when you finish this one off you'll start another.

Wow! This is so great, thank you everyone, for everything. The second best news I've had in two days. Found out yesterday my wife and I are having twin boys! Guess I gotta make sure this is done by February, not sure what kind of time I'm going to have after that.
So what would be the next step? My buddy, V.J. who's doing the xml is in Europe for the next 2 weeks, but I want to keep this moving, what can I do?

Double congrats, great news and you will have no time from Feb.

Absolutely nothing unless you want to do the xml yourself, that is really only the last big job that is needed. I can only suggest that you go into both maps, blow them up really well and have a look for stray pixels, check your territ lines, make sure they are of the same width and colour (CH-e /JE-2) and just do a general polish. One thing I have noticed is the pattern around the legends seem to be slightly different. (I can see it on hold any tribal chief one but not so much on the other 2).
Whats next after you have the babies, Tribal War California.

If you do make a start on the XML mate, anything you get done is less work for your coder to do when they get back! Other than that though, there isn't anything else to do.

CURRENT UPDATE INFO-2011-09-08:
- No major changes, just some minor cosmetic updates and pixel cleaning.
- In anticipation of V.J. starting the XML next week, when he gets back from vacation, I went ahead and hid the army circles on the small version.

Need a little XML help.
For our map, how do you create the bonuses for holding the Shell Mound Ruins plus the Conquistador? And also, how do you set up the Chief bonus of holding a chief and 3 or 5 warriors? I think we have everything else ready to go but this aspect. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Actually I have one problem. When there needs to be Chief and 3 warriors, what do I write to make Chief a requirement?
Thanks!

Here's what you want to do:
<continent>
<name>CH Chief</name>
<bonus>0</bonus>
<components>
<territory>CHC</territory>
</components>
</continent>
<continent>
<name>3 CH Warriors</name>
<bonus>0</bonus>
<components>
<territory>CH4</territory>
<territory>CH2</territory>
<territory>CH1</territory>
<territory>CH3</territory>
</components>
<required>3</required>
</continent>
<continent>
<name>CH Chief and 3 Warriors</name>
<bonus>3</bonus>
<components>
<continent>CH Chief</continent>
<continent>3 CH Warriors</continent>
</components>
</continent>
<continent>
<name>5 CH Warriors</name>
<bonus>0</bonus>
<components>
<territory>CH4</territory>
<territory>CH2</territory>
<territory>CH1</territory>
<territory>CHC</territory>
<territory>CH3</territory>
</components>
<required>5</required>
</continent>
<continent>
<name>CH Chief and 5 Warriors</name>
<bonus>4</bonus>
<components>
<continent>CH Chief</continent>
<continent>3 CH Warriors</continent>
</components>
<overrides>
<override>CH Chief and 3 Warriors</name>
</overrides>
</continent>
Of course...that would only work if CH Chief is not included in the Warrior count (Above works for CH1, CH2, CH3, CHC gives +3).
If the chief is included in the 3 (IE, CH1, CH2, CHC gives you the bonus), you want this:
<continent>
<name>CH Chief</name>
<bonus>0</bonus>
<components>
<territory>CHC</territory>
</components>
</continent>
<continent>
<name>3 CH Warriors</name>
<bonus>0</bonus>
<components>
<territory>CH4</territory>
<territory>CH2</territory>
<territory>CH1</territory>
<territory>CH3</territory>
</components>
<required>2</required>
</continent>
<continent>
<name>CH Chief and 3 Warriors</name>
<bonus>3</bonus>
<components>
<continent>CH Chief</continent>
<continent>3 CH Warriors</continent>
</components>
</continent>
<continent>
<name>5 CH Warriors</name>
<bonus>0</bonus>

<continent>3 CH Warriors</continent>

<override>CH Chief and 3 Warriors</name>

If the chief is included in the 3 warriors, you might want to reword it to "CH Chief and 2 warriors" so it's more clear you only need 2 warriors in addition to the chief.
