I'm a little confused about how the firing works ... is someone fired from each team each week or just from the losing team?

Actually one was a mistake. Other than that it has been 2 games per round and 1 person eliminated after each game

So at one point in the tournament, colton lost 3 straight games. 2 of those games were the only one that round, yet he and his partner miraculously survived the gallows both times. The other one was a 1v1 in which I beat him. He survived that too, of course.
