The question still remains..... Is there a limit or standard? And if it's a personal attack is that allowed? FREDVIII wasn't allowed that leeway.

This presumes that if they "hear it from strangers across the internet" that they WON'T go home and ask mommy...

Well I would guess that for appearances sake they had
settled with a forum ban instead of an enforcement of the FREDVIII rule. C C might have new enforcement criteria now called the "baby steps rule enforcement". It starts with [settled].. then many [warnings].. then.........
(depending upon who you are of course)

I don't remember for sure why this is, but it seems like (to my poor memory) that I was told making a game-chat ban was not possible at this time. I definitely may be wrong on that, though.
