that is very true, but the point i make is regarding the implications for all the changes, not this one specifically.
As i have said, i shed no sincere tear for the loss of Flamewars... I fear for what it bodes. ..
any way, well done all, congratulations on your victory and i bid you farewell

At least this time it was the actual site that chased you off, and not just some drama-queen.

Sorry. Forget the second part. It was an afterthought anyway. What I'm actually interested in, is what you think this whole fiasco "bodes".
And please keep your belittling nick-names to flame wa... oh right.

actually, he did score a point and he does know what it is (so does frop)... so, why not just answer the question instead of dancing about? incase you forgot, he asked,

i too am interested... however, if you simply mean what you posted earlier, than i agree...

very valid point... the only thing worse than this, that i can think of, would be the return of wicked or delia...-0

Jimi, I missed your posts the first time you abandoned the community, but it seems as though you only came back to moan about things you have no say in. It's a shame you left.

Warning-warning-warning, don't call anyone "pointed ear alien," you'll get a warning by "Night Strike." Don't call a French-Canadian a "FRENCHIE," after some uneducated idiot insulted Americans. Yes, this has happened to me.
Bring back our FREEDOMS of FREE SPEECH and FREE EXPRESSIONS to slam our fellow players and bad Moderators.
mod edit
Freedom of speech is not applicable in any way. There is no such thing as freedom of free expressions.

You're right, FREEDOM of SPEECH is NOT guaranteed on forums like this.
What we want is to be able to have a thread, where we can voice our outrage at players and even about moderators who seem too sensitive to criticism.
The way things are now, we can have a particular moderator who uses his authority to pass his own agenda or hatred for specific players and posters. So, where do we go from here then? Just be silent? Ask for a refund of our premium payment?
There's something called customer service and now the last vistages of it is being left to those moderators who may have an axe to grind or a political philosophy that may be offensive to some of us.
Night Strike can edit this and edit that to hide the harmless rants I have said. That's his perogative and power that he uses.
In all seriousness, if you're that upset by the way the website is run, you should vote with your feet.

this is a thread about reviving flame wars... not General Stoneham's little problem with NS that i have been reading about all over the GD today...

welcome to the GD... it takes a very sharp mind to tread the waters of the GD and stay alive while eviscerating those that posses less gray matter than you do... flame wars is a softball compared to the big leagues of the GD...-0

when you buy something in a shop you pay for the product you are buying, not for help by the workers there, yet they still help you. its called customer service. some mods know what this is, others dont.

I say C.C. should take off the fricken P.C. dress and grow a set of balls. No one makes anyone read the flame wars forum, if you dont like it, dont enter it, you know, its like the damn advice they give about foe-ing someone you dont like.

Just thought it'd be good to point out that NO has almost twice as many votes as YES.

thats because most of the people that dont care either way voted no
if flame wars was revived those 32% of people that voted yes could have their fun flaming and all of the people that voted no could easily ignore the forum (its like az said, no one is forced to read flame wars)
shame it wont happen
