Direct your flames at the right individual then.

You make a post appealing to the mods to "do something about" me, then you are told that it was someone else that was the problem, and you say "whoever the eff it is".

Not good enough.

Let me get this straight-you're flaming me and derailing the thread because I, in your opinion, flamed someone else and derailed the thread.

Carry on.

If by "interesting" you are referring to the fact that a father took the time to write a flame of a CC member on his child's chalkboard, take a picture of it, download it to his computer, upload it to a Web site, and then post in on what is supposed to be a non-flaming forum, then I agree.

Interesting.

You seem to be overemphasing this by quite a bit. I would imagine that this does not take really very long at all. Especially considering you are a well known flame wars persona, I would expect you would be used to getting flamed/flaming people outside of the primary board for doing so.

I think Flame Wars should be kept in Flame Wars. I don't like when it leaks into any other area of this site. That is my emphasis.

But it is apparent that some people take Flame Wars too seriously and carry a grudge. People have tried to bring it into PM's (where I have sometimes engaged just to discourage future attempts), Live Chat (which I am banned from, so that solves that), into other forums (really only this one - I hardly post in any other forums), and the game itself (where I will not engage as it ruins the game and shows bad sportsmanship, in my opinion).

I agree with the term "Flame Wars persona". That's all it is. I'm playing a role. It seems kinda obvious to me.

Just this past week or so, several people have flamed me here in the Off Topics forum for no good reason. I made a few, light-hearted jokes that were on-topic and then I get flamed for it. Of course I don't like it. I don't come here for a fight. But it seems like so many people in this forum are just itching to start a fight.

Flame Wars is for fighting with words. How can anyone carry a grudge when that is the premise? If you enter Flame Wars, you are entering to fight. There are a few things that are against the rules. Other than that, it is a free-for-all. So unless I broke some rules against a person, how can he/she logically be mad at me for it? They came to fight. It is clear to me that some people are just bad losers.

Would it help if I said "Sorry I hurt your feelings. I was only joking around."?

As far as I recall, your lighthearted jokes weren't very good. Maybe you should work on them a little.

How about a 'flaming ikea' forum where the madness of Ikea can be fought and argued over. This argument made me laugh.

I think you being a pathethic little troll is a perfectly good reason.

lol, wow. My 4 year old actually wrote that. =)

My post was the quintessential lighthearted jibe. I was planning on taking a picture of my Luns and posting it, logged on, saw you (again) making an ass of yerself and decided to poke a little fun at the same time. To quote a wise man "Its just a game Fauker".

Next time you make a joke, add a some humor to it.
In these recessive times a little levity is appreciated.

edited for clarity... didn't mean to confuse you TP.

snorri just demonstrated that he is still upset about his performance versus mine in Flame Wars.

Something with which you can identify.
