You're probably right. At least it's been friendly bickering so far, but in the interest of keeping it that way ... might wanna stop while we're ahead.

Welcome to our newest managers: bonus_mop, angola, HighlanderAttack, MuEagles79, LB Ninja, dcc1220, jerry1111, and nashlloyd.

I'm afraid I was mistaken before about the NL East being filled--completely missed that the Marlins are still available. The AL West's 4 teams, however, have absolutely all been taken.

I'm going to add a list of maps that have already been taken in the first post to facilitate signups for the last few players, since we've had 3 people try to claim Feudal War, and a few others that have inspired duplicates as well.

Heh ... well, at least it's clear where your real loyalties lie. :D Welcome to the tourney!

Only 9 teams remaining; the spoilers for each division have been updated with a list of remaining teams. Oddly enough, 4 of the 6 NL Central teams are still up for grabs.

Unfortunately, we can't take freemium players--I want to finish the tourney in a semi-reasonable amount of time, which means sending out more than 4 games at once (as I've mentioned before, I'll send stuff out one series at a time, but may send 2 or even 3 series each week).

We're also unfortunately back down to 20 teams (had someone who chose a duplicate home map drop out), and there is once again at least one team available in every division.

Not to be a party pooper but isn't it unfair to allow users to have a Beta map(aka USA Rockies) as their home field

Since these maps are still being tested and edited, it may change during the season. It would be like removing the Green Moster half way during the season in my opinion.

I'm not sure how I feel about that. coacheberhardt did ask if he could use that map and I okayed it because I felt that, with such a long season, the map would likely be out of Beta long before the season ends. And I figured we could chalk up the changes to "in-season" renovations ... but, in all seriousness, the person most affected by any change would be the manager whose team plays half his/her games on it. So if that's coach's choice, I'm personally okay with that.

I do see your point, though, and will open that question up to a vote across the rest of the league once we have it filled ...

... which reminds me, if you know someone who might be interested, point 'em in this direction! Just 4 teams left! EVERYTHING MUST GO! ;)
