You are also stating that you dont like the idea. Congradulations mate.. I remember your posts and how they were beautiful which of most you made when you were freemium whether they are used or not.

Are you trying to tell me that anyone who decided to pay $25 a year for a membership to this site is automatically smarter than me?
im saying that most people that are serious about the site (so far more likely to come up with something decent) have premium
Terrible idea. Stupid ideas come from stupid people, not from freemiums alone. Whether or not people are dumb determines whether or not their idea is good or not. An, last I checked, no one is paying for use on the forum, so we're all freemiums here; it's the games that were are paying for.

Well, I have to say that is a good point, but it doesn't change my opinion.

Are they not serious about this site? Is saraith (post above me) not serious about this site? Are many people who do not wish to waste money on entertainment, but rather save it up to use it to further their lives in a meaningful way, not serious?
You're making rash, untrue generalizations to support your point.

You just prove yourself wrong. Take the scoreboard and see the percentage of freemiums who actually care about the site. The point of the suggestion is that the cost of the 1% having to go through a medium to make the suggestions is worth not letting the 99% of the freemiums who do not care to waste forum space and spam with suggestions that will be rejected.
P.S. The first two people you listed rarely go to the forums and have not contributed anything to CC. Way to provide bad examples. (seriously, there is a difference between playing a lot for free and contributing.)

So you're saying, that if people don't have good scores, they don't care about the site at all? And taking a look at this suggestion, proves that premiums can make stupid suggestions too.

Can you actually read my post before responding to it? I'll quote the important parts

Well, he's a good TO; but since he obviously isn't serious about this site, why let him make tournaments? I say we take that away too, since he isn't serious.

Hey, possibly a good map maker in the works. But unfortunately, he's a freemium, so he must not be serious about this site. Lets not let him make one, shall we?
[player]captainwalrus[/player]
Another good, prospective map maker. But, sadly, he too is a freemium
A lot of people on this site are freemium. And it's people like you, trying to hold them down, that prevents them from getting any more "serious" about this site. You bash them on the forums, because they feel that it's a waste of money to pay for more games, and you attack them for it. I had two friends once, who used to play a lot, and knew a lot about graphics. They were going to make a map together; threw a small idea together, posted it. Sadly, they didn't know there way around, and posted it in the wrong forum. They were "freemium bashed", their thread moved to flame wars. It could've been a great map; now they don't come here anymore.
Making rules against freemiums helps nothing.

Premiums are just as guilty of this. I don't see any benefit to making any section of the forum Premium exclusive, in fact it will just harm the site community. I vote that this suggestion be rejected.

yeah make like a one week poll and see if the community (as in those who browse the forums often) agrees or disagrees with this suggestion
as a premium member may i have the paying members floor to make a suggestion about this thread and the ideas contained within? thank you... LOCK IT!! this is absolutely ridiculous... freemium or premium has no bearing on the cognitive process, which was sorely lacking when this "suggestion" was made. there are a slew of freemiums that help make CC a better site, and offer great ideas and effort in doing so. this thread is absolutely disgusting and the OP should be embarassed of himself for even thinking such a thing. on the day his premium runs out, shall we run him out of the forums because his thoughts and ideas will suddenly have less value and merit than those of members that still have premium? not that this suggestion/thought has much merit, but he may still contribute a worthy idea at some point in his time in CC... judge not CC members based on the colour of their rank, but on the content of their play and contributions. and lest we forget, the meek shall inherit the CC... the black jesus has spoken...-0

I agree, let it be so!

I find myself agreeing with the off-white messiah. Its not a position I'm particularly comfortable with.
This community is far too elitist already. Each Idea should be judged on its merits, not whether you can afford the premium fee, or indeed, want to pay it.
If posting 'intelligent' material was the criteria for being able to post, then 99% of the illumni would find themselves without a campus.

New suggestion, only players with 2k+ score can make suggestions. If their suggestion is pending and their score dips below 2k, then the suggestion gets shot.... by a gun.
Because, most players under 2k don't care about the site, and if they did their score would surely be higher, correct?
